"House was very nice and perfect for my family to take the boat out for the weekend. The house has amazing views of the lake from large windows and a nice long covered porch. The family liked the chickens and firepit. The dock was a nice assest. I should have put the boat in the water first though before taking it up the road to the house and having to turn around."

"The cabin was exactly as listed. There was everything we needed to make meals and have a comfortable stay while we were away from home. It is a kid-friendly environment with a rustic feel. We got rained in for a day, but there were still plenty of things to keep us occupied while the storm passed. "The property was as described.Very rustic with modern touches.Very tranquil and relaxing.And all of the reviews were very true and helpful.And we will definitely come back again. A view of the lake would be amazing.But the wildlife is very active on the property."

"This was our second time staying at the historical home. This year we had 10 people, last year we had 17 total! There is plenty of space for our family and we love all of the charm and character. The owners are super nice and very responsive. We will definitely be back again! "

"The bed was very uncomfortable. The sink faucet leaked. The shower water was backwards. There was no regular coffee in the room. Just decaf. Tea would have been nice. Very noisy night but the hotel was filled to capacity. The room was well decorated and temperature controls worked. We only slept, left at 4 am so breakfast wasn’t quite ready, but smelled good. Staff I encountered were excellent!!"
