“The Capatain’s View” suite hits you with the “WOW” factor as soon as you open the doors & you see the river and bridge view. The beautiful wood beams & the nearly 100yr old brick work is exquisite. Step out onto the deck where the stressors you carry start melting away as you’re mesmerized by the natural beauty of the water. Then kick back & relax on the comfy couch or on the super soft oversized chair we call the “cuddler”. This suite is equipped with everything you need to call it home.
Located in historic Downtown Russell (DTR) you have the chance to experience “small town America” on the river. You get to stroll down beautiful brick streets and in a 1/2 mile as you walk along the river’s edge you can be shopping, eating & drinking or even getting a massage.
Here’s some of our DTR favorites and other attractions from around our hometown area.
The Nest Spa - book before you get here they're amazing which means they book up fast.
Ghostly Gourmet - we love everything they make. Owned by a Veteran and they’re opening a sit down full menu restaurant by end of June 2024.
DTR Nutrion - for healthy shakes, teas, oatmeal bowls and more. The Jimmy Buffet tea is my favorite.
ERIDANUS BREWING & Dragonfly Outdoor Cafe.
Our favorites but located outside the DTR area.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFO:
- KEEP IN MIND that this building is almost 100 years old. While it comes with its stunning nostalgic qualities it also has the creaking floors and can carry noises from unit to unit to remind you she's beautiful, yet aged. So please be respectful of your neighbors as you'd surely want the same from others.
We are located in a small riverside community where our neighbors are our friends. Rivesuites does have neighbors and other occupants in the building, again please be respectful.
You can refer to the hundreds of reviews from our other properties and understand that as hosts we will do everything we can to ensure you have in incredible experience.
- Parking is limited. 2 spots are available on street only in non yellow painted areas. Do not park in the driveway that is for the main unit downstairs. We do have some other arrangements we can discuss to accommodate additional vehicles.
Go up the front stairs and thru the main door.
Then head up stairs and this unit is #2 on your left. Its keyless entry and code will be given prior to arrival.
We live two homes over and can usually be there with in minutes of necessary.
We offer a “WORK FREE” checkout for our guests. All we ask is that you put any used towels in the tub and that’s it. Then message us that you’ve left.
There's a large sun-shade covering just about 1/2 of the deck giving shelter from the elements as you relax on the super cozy outdoor couch and chairs.
