Terrible stay but pretty house
Our stay was sub par at best. Our interaction with Shirley were absolutely horrible. This place has so much potential and could be absolutely stunning if we didn’t have such horrible interaction.
At the conclusion of our stay we contacted VRBO for a partial refund which she is refusing to give us. We sent Shirley the following message. She told us she would put us all over social media and accused us of trying to bring people on property when in reality two guests were just trying to leave the property”
“ You have contacted me for an additional $195 dollars, for food and transportation. Transportation to which you told one of my party would be included in our stay. In terms of the one night of dinner you prepared for us we thought that was your way of making up for the fact we didn’t have working air conditioning or hot water
- When we arrived you told us there was a mistake with our booking and you needed us to 60 more dollars per night. When we expressed that couldn’t/wouldn’t be paying that. You said that you’d be loosing money and the money we didn’t pay was “ac money” light money and “water money”. Then when we started to inquire how us paying in full, the price given to us would require us to pay again, you became very rude with us and sent us to wait by the pool. We left and came back an hour later because we were uncomfortable with how you spoke to us.The rooms still weren’t ready : Upon check in the rooms were not ready you were still putting pillows cases and towels on the bed
- we have working acs until Wednesday. And complained many times. We had No hot water except for check in day. This was truly miserable because the water was ice cold. We complained EVERY single day to you. And your responses kept getting ruder and ruder.
- Our biggest issue was the automatic gate. That we couldn’t access freely. As a frequent visitor to Jamaica and a frequent renter of villas. The issues arised when we wanted explore night life of JA which has just reopened. Since the gate need you or an employee in order to be opened. We received a lot of attitude when we asked for it to be opened. On multiple occasions when phoning you about the gate situation you hung up on us including day if check out, when the two ladies had to leave at 4:30 am to catch their flight.On one occasion we had to call you to give permission for your employee to let us out .”
