"Our group of 12 had a fantastic ski weekend staying at this big quirky home. We had everything we needed for prepping a big burrito dinner (the kitchen had 3 slow cookers!). The host was extremely accommodating and communicative before, during, and after our stay. He graciously allowed a late checkout Sunday after a day on the mountain, and even mailed a forgotten hat back to us. This home definitely has a lived in feel, and has a lot more character than a hotel or commercially managed property, so be aware before you book. There were some places that could have been cleaner (hot tub, dishes in the cabinets) but the beds, bathrooms, etc were perfectly clean and tidy. Highly recommend this stay for any large group looking for a close by mountain stay!"

"Snow cap is so close to Sunday River ski resort and yet is affordable. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Morning muffins and evening fresh baked cookies, s’mores and hot chocolate fixin’s add a touch of comfort and feeling of welcome. "

"My daughter and I had a very comfortable stay. The room was well appointed and the view was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We will come back. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter from her stepfather. Great gift for her and a great day of skiing as well. - Mary"

"We had a wonderful time during our weekend ski trip. The location was fantastic—peaceful and quiet—and the included breakfast was a great convenience. However, the HVAC system was a bit of a drawback, as it was difficult to find a comfortable temperature. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable. Also, there are lots of dining options."
