Ideal for our location requirements, place is fantastic loads of room, even enjoyed the animals on fields behind. Greg &June great hosts very helpful and attentive.
Stayed here with my bridesmaids for
My wedding at Vilagrad. Perfect location with the venue 5 mins down the road and super easy to get to. Great place with lots of space and lighting for photos
Beautiful house and location. Only a minute out of town, it was nice to stay somewhere we didnt have to fight for parking space and looking at other houses. Very relaxing. And great wide space for a full house of people.
We stayed here for my wedding and it was a great place to stay the night before to get ready for the big day and a great place to stay for our first night as husband and wife.
They house is just beautiful and you walk in and it feels like home. It’s a great location for both access to Te Awamutu and Hamilton and the whole feel was just amazing! Thank you!
A beautiful home, large enough for the six of us to have our own space. A lovely benefit of its location was looking out at the paddocks, sheep and cows.
What a beautiful and quiet setting! The house is spacious and clean. June and Greg were very accommodating. If you have a problem, a quick email to June, and it is addressed immediately. The location, although out in the country, is within a 15-20 minute drive to great eating facilities. If you're looking for a place away from the hussle and bussle of the city, then this is the place for you.
Great location. It suits our needs. Although of we filled the place to capacity, there would not be enough dinner plates and wine glasses etc.
We celebrated 4 70th birthdays - hence the title 70 Blessings.
Your home really meets our needs and allows us to have a very relaxing and joyful visit - meet-up in Hamilton.
Thank you for the restful surroundings and decor.
Thank you for having us! What a lovely property. It was clean and modern. The living area was a great size for the 8 of us. The only thing was that the upstairs bedroom had single beds, which seemed a bit smaller than what we expected, and that room was quite hot (middle of summer). Otherwise, this was a fantastic place to stay - very peaceful, and June had great communication throughout.
We had a great time at this place. We wanted something that was centrally located for WW Cup games and it fit perfectly. Beautiful area, comfortable home.
Only detraction from a full 5-star would be that some of the rooms don't have closets and the home isn't really setup for winter temperatures. Other than that... highly recommend.
Took a group from the US living in Okinawa to see NZ and stayed 10 days. Tried to get a place centrally located to see Hobbiton, Hairy Feet hobbit area, and see central North Island both sides. This place allowed us to see everything and get everywhere in an hour or so.
The only drawback was our visit in NZ winter. We are all from a hot tropical island and it was very cold outside.
The house provided a couple of space heaters and had 2 wall A/C -heaters.
Problem was the owners told us to turn them off while we were away sightseeing. So it was freezing when we returned late at night inside and did not really warm up until we were leaving the next day, so the house was cold always. Having open windows in the hall bathroom and no way to close them keep cold air always coming in - that toilet was unusable unless you like a freezing cold seat the entire time.
Amazing home that made me feel like I was visiting my moms place. Cozy and warm, with period style decor. Situated on a stunning little pice of rural farm land, with plenty of parking. The lawn is well kept, so be sure to keep off the grass.
The entrance can be a bit tricky to find in the dark, so if arriving after dark be sure to keep a keen eye open to spot the entrance and be very sure to slow down when approaching.
Overall a great home away from home, with a touch of Mum.

Fine
Served our purposes very well, nice warm cosy home allowing plenty of room for our party of three couples with one baby, but still be together as a sleepover for two nights rather than a holiday. We did see a lot of the owner walking around outside the house en route to his farm and back, so the ladies were reluctant to indulge the nice bath that was situated in the laundry, so used the en suite showers instead. Being tank water supply, this proved better for water conservation, but it did look like a nice option available.
No complaints as such, would definitely like to stay again
