Wonderful retreat lake house, close to great hiking trails

Incredible views overlooking Grindstone Lake, great for fishing or swimming during the summer months. Spacious accommodations with 6 bedrooms/6 bathrooms and two family areas. After a day of walking the nearby hiking trails soak in the hot tub with views of the lake or relax with one of the two fireplaces, both with views of the lake.

Great place to stay
Beautiful house with plenty of room, great for large groups. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the young adults and teens enjoyed hanging out downstairs in the TV room while the older adults had some peace and quiet upstairs. The lake and hiking trails are within walking distance. The property manager was also very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Gathering
We (adults and kids) all had a fabulous time . This was our first annual Christmas event and it couldn't have been more perfect. The rooms were nice, large kitchen and family room accommodated everyone. It is a beautiful place and area. It would be a fun winter or summer vacation place.

Best View in Ruidoso
Best vacation home our family has ever stayed in. Plenty of room for a large group. Something for everyone…hiking, trail running, fishing and swimming. Would love to visit again some day.

This house was amazing!! This was our 1st time to visit ruidoso and had a blast. We arrived late at night but waking up the next morning all I can say is WOW!!!! Definitely plan on coming back!!!!

What an awesome property and area!
Here for our wedding at the In. Of the Mountain Gods and chose this place for the location. The house and property is Amazing!!! Views are beautiful and can’t beat location. Stayed here with my family and enjoyed every piece of it! Home was beautiful and well equipped! I have stayed in many hotels, resorts and VRBOs and this is absolutely the BEST! A perfect family getaway!
The home was spacious enough for everyone to spread out. It was clean and just perfect for our family. Stunning views! We went fishing at the lake and caught multiple fish. With six bedrooms and bathrooms, it truly was a perfect size for a large family gathering. The great room was perfect for family game night. We would definitely stay here again! We made some great memories.!

Christmas Delight
This property was an excellent place for the family to celebrate an early Christmas. Very clean and well kept rental. Was decorated for the season. Wonderful view and accommodated our group perfectly. Impressed how well the kitchen was supplied with pans, utensils, etc. allowing us to prep beautiful meals. The house was enjoyed by all.
