"All the staff were very nice and warm and made us feel very welcomed. Starting from the manager, Kai, who checked us in and explained everything about the property to us, to the service staff who brought us water, the staff who started the fire in our room and the the waiter who served us during the meals. Small touches like cleaning up our boots and loaning us the gaiters. Chef coming out to ask what we liked. Really appreciate Ed"

"This hotel is absolutely horrible! It is incredibly overpriced, at the same rate as a Luxury Hotel, but they have service comparable to a Motel in Rural Alabama. They don't have a restaurant, they have a cafeteria with a fixed menu. The portions are tiny (cheap) and I left each meal still feeling hungry. They do not have internet in the Rooms. They do not stock their minibar. Half of the electrical outlets in each room do not work. The entrance of each room is accessed through a back alley...

"Lovely and large room with king bed and a fire place. Ensuite was also large. They also put hot water bottles in our bed at turn down - such a lovely gesture. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Food good and fresh too. We also saw a Golden Monkey there too. Nb. Worth noting that the laundry service doesn’t include ironing/pressing."

"One of the top hotels in Kabale. The service given by the staff is outstanding, even by Uganda’s high standards. "Het hotel is ruim opgezet, het personeel vriendelijk. Ontvangst met gemberthee. Het hotel was schoon, de kamers ruim. sAvonds werd de haard in onze kamer aangestoken. Voor onze safari naar de Golden Monkeys was het een heel goede locatie, ook voor de Gorilla safari in Rwanda is het een goede plek. Het eten was uitgebreid , maar de kwaliteit viel een beetje tegen. "The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. "
