"A gathering of family members of all age ranges and various needs but the size of the property and the bedroom configuration worked for us and there was so much space both inside and out. The owner was very welcoming and kept us informed of events in the area. The kids loved having so much outdoor space and loved the Easter egg hunt and Sports Day that we were able to do. "Great stay in a lovely house. Large, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Feels like a cared-for home. Plenty of different living spaces (inside and outside). Large and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Glorious views from the house and colourful garden (in summer). Lots of walks from the back door or a short drive away. Good local shop and pub. Very responsive host. Nice welcome pack. Would love to go back."

"Fantastic stay, the house was perfect and stunning scenery right on the doorstep (albeit the fog tried to ruin it). Our first Christmas at a neutral location, took some planning but it worked out very well, the kitchen was great with all the equipment you could need. Loved the Aga too. Heartily recommend this place to anyone"

"Nice place with very considerate hosts. One morning we mentioned to Arthur that the frying pan was warped and a bit difficult to cook with, and when we returned that evening a bag with a new pan was hanging on the door. Arthur also made some good recommendations for visiting local attractions. Enjoyable stay."

"When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed "
