"An absolute hidden gem, I wanted somewhere close to the airport but quiet and with a touch of class and this lovely manor house did not disappoint. Excellent staff and service, evening meal was quite frankly one of the best meals I have eaten, the only downside was the family pool time for 1 1/2 hours in the evening, just when we wanted to enjoy the lovely quiet poolside loungers and hot tub. Apart from that all great and we will definitely be coming back."

"Staff were excellent, without exception. Warm and friendly and entirely welcoming. The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility issues make sure you book an accessible room, otherwise you will be faced with a plethora of small staircases and a menagerie of random doors. "
