When you vacation in Rørvig, it is a must to visit Skansehage, which is perhaps the most attractive area of Rørvig with a beautiful, child-friendly sandy beach. Enjoy the atmosphere at Rørvig harbor, where you can buy and enjoy freshly caught and smoked fish every day, while the children catch crabs from the pier. There are cozy cafes, ice cream parlors and mini golf.

A few kilometers away is the market town of Nykøbing with a lively pedestrian zone and exciting stores. There are good practice facilities for anglers and golfers. Also visit Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century, where a white ghost is said to live. The castle is unique and scenically located on Nekselø Bay, where you can also enjoy culinary experiences using local ingredients. Children will love seeing the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum or the Gekko Park climbing park in Højby, or taking a seal safari from Rørvig harbor. Besides good beaches, there are large nature reserves around Rørvig. Also discover the Hempel Glass Museum, the Odsherred Museum with a copy of the Bronze Age find. Or visit the nature school with its many activities about expeditions in the forest, butterfly safaris to trolls and foxes.
