And their breakfast was one of my two favorite breakfasts during my two week journey in Europe. Generous, with high quality ingredients. "We loved this hotel in the center of Compiegne, France, one hour north of Paris. The room was modernized and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The person at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. We loved this town. It is charming and walkable. Excellent restaurants, especially Bistro du Terroir, which was recommended by the hotel. Best restaurant ever!!! Don't miss the WW1 war memorial 6 km east of town. It is a very important monument and and interesting. "
