"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

"The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."

The property was very convenient and located in a lovely hamlet close to Woorsatdt, close to and easily accessible from the A61 and A63 Autobahns in a beautiful setting amongst vineyards. Our hostess made us very welcome and she was very helpful as we tried to communicate with very little German and English. There is lots to see and do. We have no hesitation in recommending this property."

"Das Doppelhaus ist etwas versteckt mit herrlichen Ausblick in den Wald. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten mit Terrassen sehr schön gestaltet. Es ist alles was man braucht vorhanden, von Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirrtücher, sogar etwas Brennholz bis zu Gewürzen war alles da. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Wir haben das Häuschen gleich wieder gemietet und freuen uns auf einen weiteren Aufenthalt."

Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat während dem Wochenende immer wieder sichergestellt, dass es an nichts fehlt und super Programmtipps für in und um Finthen gegeben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gefunden hätte. "This is the second time we have stayed as my sister lives nearby. Spotlessly clean again and the hosts were there to check us in early. Gunter and Ulrika are so kind to our children, letting them play with toys in their house and garden. Nice touches are added like wine on arrival and snacks and chocolate for the kids.
