"Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return. "

The bar had a great selection of drinks and a lively atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in the evening. The spa was a highlight, offering excellent treatments and a truly calming ambiance. The kids especially loved the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with something for everyone—highly recommended!"
