"Location is good, a very peaceful rural area, but close to the main roads. Property was ok, but somewhat shabby. Level of cleanliness was not very high. WiFi was broken and could not be fixed. We were charged an extra €60 for bedding, which was not mentioned in the listing. Towels were not provided so it's a good thing we brought our own."

The place is beautifully decorated, the beds are super comfortable, there is everything you need for cosy time witj family or friends. the hosts are very welcoming and available. "I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"Had a really lovely stay in your beautiful holiday home. Gorgeous and relaxing surroundings and couldn’t have asked for more in the house itself. Extremely clean, modern and fully stocked with everything we needed i really loved the little extras like the yummy cakes & drinks on arrival. Christine was a wonderful and super friendly host, greeting us as we arrived and gave a very good tour of the house. "Lovely cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday and really cosy. Yport still retains its village atmosphere, it has a few nice shops for your supplies and a pebble beach to enjoy. The only disappointment was the small garden which had been neglected and was overgrown, we weeded and tidied it up for our use. We would all return without hesitation."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right.
