"I have stayed here many times. Southern Cross is an ancient Devon thatched cottage and grade 2 listed building. It is quaint and quirky. The service is brilliant, the breakfast is excellent and very dog friendly. I always enjoy my stay. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The owner had provided fresh milk in the fridge for my hot drinks, as well as a variety of teas and coffees. "We loved this property as the bedrooms were a good size , Craig our host was fantastic. Always on the ball and available if needed for enquiries about the local area if he could help . Onsite pool which we did-not use but if we visited again we would . Breakfasts to die for . "

"The room was slightly dated, but very clean. On arrival the room was cold, but there was an option to contact the owners to have the heating boosted if required. We were visiting friends nearby so didn't need to do so, and the room was lovely and warm on our return once the scheduled heating had started. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of accommodation "

"Beautiful location in amazing village. Room was okay for few nights although possibly may need a bit more deep clean at some point in time as few things felt overlooked. All in all pkeased with our stay!"

"We stayed three night in the garden studio and it was great. We were provided lots of information prior to our arrival. Paul met us when we arrived and showed us around. The garden studio is lovely. Very comfortable bed room with a table and chairs. Well Stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, a single ring camping cooker if you want to cook. "Had 3 lovely days at Brooksyde. A very comfortable house, a home form home seaside retreat. A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend "

"The hotel has a lovely ambience throughout. Our bedroom was gorgeous and breakfast was perfect. Location couldn't be better for exploring Lyme Regis and car parking took all the stress out of the break. Definitely recommend "
