So chic, So charming
Behind very quiet meadows and a snaky countryside road, stands a very authentic rock farm house ; everything is in place to make it relaxing : an outstanding view of wonderful bocage landscapes, the sound of a typical french countryside land : cockcrow, cows moos, soft wind cuddling the oak trees and pine trees. inside, a literal shelter to the eventual whims of the weather : a very tall living room, a big kitchen, a tv room, not less than three bedrooms, two bathrooms+restrooms. That was a lot for us (we were only two of us + our cute dog), but we really enjoyed the place. Thank you Amy, Lee and Michael, and I wish you all the best.

Un petit coin de paradis
Maison très agréable dans un environnement de rêve. Le calme, la vue, le charme, tout y est. La maison, une ancienne ferme, a été restaurée avec énormément de goût et l'écran de cinéma sur l'immense mur du salon est un vrai plus pour les amateurs de cinéma. Mike, le propriétaire a été toujours disponible et très réactif.

Idyllisch huisje met prachtig uitzicht
Een sfeervol huis met uitzicht over de heuvels en vallei. Magnifieke woonkamer met bioscoop scherm. Een enorm uitgebreide dvd collectie. Bezienswaardigheden op wat meer afstand. 40-60 minuten. Ruime kamers boven. Twee badkamers is een luxe. De beneden badkamer is wat donker. De slaapkamer erachter wat bedompt. We hebben genoten van het terras, de rust en het uitzicht. Grote weide achter het huis hoort erbij. Ik zou het wel weten als t mij. Huis was: zwembad erin en het is perfect!

La maison était conforme aux attentes et très bien entretenue, les alentours sont parfaits pour qui recherche le calme avec un petit plus pour l'observation des étoiles. La communication a été très fluide et claire.

Vu imprenable sur le Puy de Dôme
Très bon séjour dans un cadre formidable loin de toute civilisation propice au repos. Les équipements situés dans la cuisine sont vraiment à reconsidérer mais le cadre nous a fait oublié cela. La maison est spacieuse et conforme à la description de l'annonce.

This old place is absolutely charming with absolutely every amenity available inside for visitors, unfortunately our Labrador wasn’t so keen on climbing the steps to the first floor which was a shame as it was a delight for us.

Nous avons dû partir plus tôt.
Belle propriété, gérant ne parlant pas bien le français, problème de communication. Nous avons dû partir le lendemain de notre arrivée. Effectivement, malgré 2 chauffagesd'appoints et un poêle à bois nous n'arrivions pas à chauffer la pièce ( hauteur sous plafond impressionnant). Il ne devait pas faire plus de 16degres. Dommage, car réactivité du propriétaire pour essayer de changer quelques chose était top, et la maison vraiment très bien, très cosy. Nous y retournerons en plein été !

Charmante maison de campagne avec vue
Petite maison au calme à la sortie de Auzances, très belle vue du jardin, et bonne situation pour de belles journées découvertes en Creuse. Belle restauration dans l’esprit de la maison ancienne (poutres, parquets…) joli salon avec grand écran pour des soirées video. Quant aux petits points à corriger ou améliorer, j’ai laissé un message privé à Michael qui m’a gentiment répondu qu’il en prenait bonne note…et pour finir : nous recommandons cette « petite maison dans la prairie » sans aucune hésitation👍

Agréable maison
Bel environnement, superbe paysage vu de la terrasse ! La maison est agréable et bien équipée. Peut-être prévoir un réfrigérateur un peu plus grand et récent ? Car avec une famille de 4, cela fait juste. Belle collection de DVD, impressionnante ! Cependant, il faut savoir que la majorité des DVD sont en langue anglaise. Certains disponibles avec sous-titres en français et très très peu de DVD en langue française. Pour des adultes, pas un problème mais pour de jeunes enfants, difficile de leur faire suivre un film en anglais sous-titré français. En résumé, nous avons passé deux agréables semaines !

Maison très agréable avec vues splendides
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette magnifique maison rustique et relaxante. On ne se laisse pas de la vue.. qui change avec l'heure de la journée et le temps qu'il fait ! Quelle quiétude ! Le home cinéma est bien sûr la cerise sur le gâteau ! Il faut tout de même savoir que les sites "touristiques" sont relativement loin et que c'est plutôt une location pour se ressourcer dans la tranquillité ! Ce qui n'était pas pour nous déplaire. Seul petit bemol, la maison donnée pour accessible PMR ne l'est pas tout à fait. Grâce au plan incliné installé devant la porte de la maison (merci !), aucun souci pour entrer, en revanche, la chambre du rez de chaussée est très exiguë et donc pas accessible pour un fauteuil roulant. Quant à la douche qui est étroite et d'une forme atypique, elle est réellement difficile d'accès même avec de l'aide. Je reconnais qu'il y avait des photos mais il est toujours difficile de se rendre compte c'est pourquoi je préfère prévenir. En dehors de ce souci, vraiment un lieu très agréable dans lequel je retournerai très volontiers. Autre chose à souligner la grande gentillesse de Lee et Amy qui ont été assez gentils pour nous rapporter des draps et un lit pliant suite à des changements de programme dans l'occupation des lieux...

Ruim huis met prachtig uitzicht
2 goede weken in het huis gehad. De ontvangst door Patty en Pete was hartelijk. Ze gaven ons een rondleiding door het huis en brachten ons later zelfs nog wat spelletjes. De keuken was het enige wat niet op de foto's stond. Die viel ons dan ook wat tegen. Erg donker en vrij klein. Ook de koelkast is klein (voor een gezin met 3 grotere kinderen). Gasfornuis was weer top. De bedden zijn prima. Fris beddengoed en frisse handdoeken. Het bioscoopscherm in de woonkamer is echt fantastisch net als het geluid en de keuze aan DVD's is ongelofelijk groot. Zoiets maak je echt maar 1x mee in een vakantiehuis! Het uitzicht is prachtig (je kijkt uit op de Puy de Dome waar je in iets meer dan een uur naartoe rijdt). De terrasstoelen vonden we wat minder comfortabel, net als de keukenstoelen. De banken en zitzakken in de woonkamer zijn weer top. Buiten misten wij wel wat dingen voor de kinderen, bijvoorbeeld een tafeltennistafel of iets dergelijks. Maar we hebben een fijne tijd gehad.

Sehr schönes und ruhiges Haus mit toller Aussicht!
Objekt ist genau wie beschrieben. Man kann sehr viel innerhalb von einem Radius von ca. einer Autostunde um das Haus herum unternehmen - auch mit Grundschulkindern sehr schön. Das riesige Heimkino war für die Kinder natürlich ein Erlebnis - dank Internetanbindung auch auf deutsch ;-) Wir sind sehr zufrieden!

Beautiful scenery, excellent location.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Puy Rigaud, very peaceful hence very relaxing. Wonderful chapel style sitting room which proved very comfortable for the amazing surround sound cinema experience! So many films that it became difficult to choose our evening entertainment!!

A superbly relaxing house, a perfect place to get away from it all.
We spent a delightful week in this beautiful house with our three children visiting local markets and walking in the woods. If you are looking for a place to get away from more traditional tourist attractions then it's perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Patty who manages the house, the house itself was beautiful, just as pictured. We visited the local swimming lake to the delight of the children and lots of local markets. The volcanoes are well worth a trip and if you can manage the walk rather than the train, the views are stunning. It is a drive to eat out but again well worth the effort to sample local cuisine although it is hard to beat eating outside the house under the vines.

Lovely, well equipped house in a great location
We had a lovely stay in this rustic but well equipped house which is in a tranquil, rural location with big skies and views overlooking a valley and further towards mountains - yet only a conveniently short drive to the nice little town of Auzances with its decent supermarket, pharmacy, bank etc. The property has a lovely big garden to sit in or wander around with a shaded terrace for eating outdoors or (as in our case) just doing nothing!. The impressive living room provides a wonderful space for relaxing in the evening or avoiding the heat of the day and the cinema system is a real bonus - backed up by a substantial library of films. We visited Aubusson about 35 min's drive away which is a typical French market-town with a couple of nice restaurants tucked by the river, but would particularly recommend a jaunt slightly further afield to the Puy de Domes for the enjoyable train-ride to the top, dramatic views of the volcanic landscape from the summit and the welcome surprise of a very good restaurant in the visitor centre. Given the rustic nature of the house, people with small children or restricted mobility would need to take extra care - for example on the open wooden staircase, but we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it. The owner and property manager were very friendly, responsive and helpful.

Lovely house, great location, huge tv screen for gamers.
House was perfect, the views were stunning, facilities great. View from the bath was outstanding. Kitchen lovely, sitting room was something to behold. Walks in the woods with my dog were very enjoyable and right on the doorstep. Tip:-bring a long rope if you have a dog so they don’t go wondering into the adjoining fields as the huge garden includes a meadow. We ate in the garden every night, and breakfast every morning. The night sky here was a joy to sit and stare at, a habit I got into every night. Fantastic place, no negatives, only positives, can’t wait to return.
