"Im letzten Jahr waren wir mit 4 Personen in einem entsprechend großen Zelt in Vierhuizen . Das hat uns sehr gefallen . Größe und Ausstattung TOP. Dieses Jahr sind wir ohne Kinder verreist. Das 2 Personen Zelt ist wirklich sehr sehr klein . Man kann sich kaum drehen und wenden. Wenn es regnet hat man Pech und ist im Zelt gefangen weil es auf der Terrasse keinen Schutz gibt . Dieses Jahr war eine extreme Mückenplage , evtl auch deshalb weil einige Zelte direkt an einem Tümpel stehen . Ich war noch...

"5tägiger Herbsturlaub hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das alte Fischerhäuschen ist klein aber fein renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Es hat alles was ein Kurzurlaub braucht. Vorsicht, die Treppe zu den Schlafräumen ist sehr steil aber oben mit einem Kindersicherheitstor gesichert. Die Betten sind bequem aber als große Person muss man sich unter den Dachschrägen einfädeln, was jedoch zum Charme des Hauses gehört. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen im Garten sitzen. "Sehr schönes Ferienhaus im schönen Städtchen Grou. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist super und besonders hat uns der große Wohnraum mit offener Küche und großer Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser gefallen. Für Familien absolut empfehlenswert, für zwei Parteien sind die Schlafzimmer evtl. ein bisschen zu klein."

Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. Two bicycles are provided for use so I would hop on after dinner and explore the beautiful countryside. The property is spacious for two adults and very clean and comfortable. "Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts.
