Deceptive charging on checkout
Surprise additional city tax charges on checkout. Every other hotel on Expedia that I’ve stayed in has advised extra charges to pay when checking out. Blamed Expedia. Really - I was the first to raise this issue ?

Ideally located for the Depot and Rotterdam’s other museums and art spaces and with great public transport links, this modern hotel offers stylish contemporary rooms designed with both flair and attention to detail. All the staff were very friendly and professional and the housekeeping was excellent. The restaurant and bar with outside terrace just provided the icing on the cake.

A great hotel. I was greeted warmly after a long journey and felt comfortable quickly. The comfy room is wonderful with excellent views and having a mini fridge was handy for popping in my Insulin. Being able to contact the hotel team via WhatsApp was handy and having breakfast served until 12pm was EXCELLENT. The hotel is about ten minutes away from Rotterdam Centraal via Tram which is great. Would recommend!

We just spent 5 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and engaging, the room was very comfortable and the location is great. Our room (15) had a very comfortable bed, nice furnishings, quality linens and the bathroom amenities were very nice. Our only complaint with the room was the automatic lighting in the toilet (motion activated), if you get up to use the bathroom in the night, the light will automatically turn on and wake your companion up, you can't deactivate it. Big design mistake!!!! The breakfast was very enjoyable, especially if the weather lets you sit outside. Our only complaint was that breakfast isn't served until 8.00am, if you want to get an early start you won't be able to get breakfast. I visit Rotterdam 3-4 times a year for business and over the years have stayed at pretty much all of the better hotels in town, Morgan and Mees is a much needed addition to the city. All in all, we'd definitely recommend a stay at Morgan and Mees.

The hotel is great for price, close to the cruise terminal, nice to walk around. The breakfast with a nice cappuccino was great, except a bit pricey, $84 Canadian Dollars for two people. Another weird thing is that the Uber could not stop at the front of the hotel, instead they had to stop at the other side of the street, some more work for the luggage.

1st class Hotel, in the middle of everything. Walk bus tram tube all on your doorstep. Restaurants, street food, takeouts, all around. Staff lovely, biggest bed ever.😁

Location was convenient, and safe. Checkin was way too late (3pm) and even so I returned to find my luggage still at reception and not moved to my room. On arrival and departure I had been kept waiting on account of running between the bar and restaurant.
