"The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings. "A tad cold, even in summer. The breakfast basket was nice surprise but i feel the quantity can be increased (only 1 strip of bacon and 1 small waffle per pax). The cost could be used for a nice hotel stay instead"

"Second stay at this Motel on our return from Auckland. Upgraded to a superior room with all facilities including spa bath. The room looked fairly recently redecorated and in first class condition. Excellent condition and cleanliness."

"Good accommodation for a family of four. Room was clean and spacious. No lift to 3rd floor so a little hassle carrying cases up a flight of stairs. Limited parking onsite so needed to park in pay car park across road. "
