"The place is currently 20 feet from a major construction site (Next Door). The construction workers started everyday at 7:00 AM and lasted almost until 7:00 PM (19:00). In the morning you get "wiped off your bed". We think that it is very unfair that the responsible for this site posting did not indicate anything. "Nice location in Murren with great view of the Alps! About 0.8 of a mile from the Schilthorn cable car. 3 floors up without an elevator so that may be an issue for some. Three bedrooms, but would be a little tight for 3 couples; it was perfect for the two couples on our trip though, and would be great for families. Home very, very comfortably furnished and easy to clean up behind oneself. "Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! "Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Grengiols verbracht und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Ort, ist aber trotzdem ruhig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Bei Anreise mit dem Zug muss man berücksichtigen, dass der Bahnhof ein ganzes Stück unterhalb des Ortes liegt. Der Weg ist aber auch mit Gepäck machbar. Im Dorfladen gegenüber gibt es sogar frische Brötchen und auch sonst eigentlich alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"
