"It is a fairly average, cheap hostel. Staff member upon check-in made me pay twice as I had pre-paid on expedia but then paid also on arrival - so be sure if youve already paid. This was all resolved the next day by a helpful lady. Beds were very creaky so every time you moved it would make a noise. "This place is a private house converted into guest rooms, including the cellar. My room was in the cellar. It didn't have a window, only a skylight with a grate across. It was dark and one morning there was a slug crawling on the floor. The bed didn't have a proper mattress or bedding. On top of the bed was a foam topper, on top of that a day blanket and a cover blanket that I don't think were clean. The front door has a key code, but the door was left open most of the time by the other...

"Very unclean and worn building. Half of it was a building site so works began early in the morning. The basement room had a window that you could hear people moving about all night. The shower and bathroom were so bad we really refrained from using it at all. A taxi driver informed us that there are women who offer extra services in this hostel. AVOID THIS HOSTEL. Wasn’t even cheap compared to other accommodation we were just desperate for somewhere to sleep. "

"The room was reasonably nice, but you definitely need to contact and set up which room you will be in before you arrive. There is no reception for the Hostel specifically, but there is a Turkish or Lebanese restaurant below that acts as a reception. If you do not have your room number they will not be able to help you and may seem totally clueless that they are the ad-hoc reception of a hostel. "
