Lovely property on the edges of the forest with great walks and cycling. The hosts were amazing...attentive, informative and helpful. The garden was great to eat in and take in the atmosphere. We would love to revisit and would highly recommend for a quiet get away for 2.
We loved the property. The facilities were good for a mini break. The owner was very friendly and came out to meet us. The lane approaching the annex was challenging but worth it for the pleasant area. Ideal place for a couples mini break.
This accommodation is amazing. It was perfect for us and had everything you needed for a few days. Hosts were the best and extremely friendly and helpful. They allowed us to use their washing machine and dryer to which we are eternally greatful. Beautiful setting and the bed was the best we had slept in over 29 days. We would love to return and highly recommend to anyone.
very clean and comfortable, well stocked with appliances could do with an air fryer, to save the owner money on the oven. The only real issue we found is if you wanted to watch the t.v there is no signal, but that never bothered us, we wanted peace and quiet and to visit the area and thats what we got. Great stay.
Lovely annex in a very peaceful location. It was super-clean and had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and provided very clear directions to the property.
There is a lot to see and do within a short drive of the property. Loved being surrounded by nature and hearing owls within close proximity. I had never heard that before! Can definitely recommend!
I stayed in the farm for 3 nights with my partner. The Annexe has everything you need and is perfect for a quiet and relaxing gateway trip. Having breakfast in the garden was definitely a highlight!
Arthur, the owner, came to greet us the first morning and was very kind. They also provided us with a Welcome letter which was very helpful when looking for places to eat.
The only cons is that the bathroom is a bit tight, specially the shower - I'm a tall woman- but I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a relaxing place.

The host was absolutely amazing really helped me out after being in a bind and finding out how to get around, Eternally grateful. The property is very beautiful and well kept with a very nice kitchen and selection of movies. The view is to die for, nothing beats the morning sun that shines on the hills. 10/10 would recomend.
Overall the property was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay however we found the single track to the property difficult especially as we met another vehicle coming up as we were going down and had to reverse uphill
We had a great stay at Mimi and Arthur's annexe. The apartment was well equipped with a very comfy bed and in a fabulous location for forest walks straight from the door.
There are lots of things to do close by such as canoeing on the river Wye, mountain biking and visiting various caves as well as many lovely walks.
Mimi and Arthur were wonderful hosts, ensuring we had a lovely stay and catering for all of our needs. They responded very quickly to any questions we had. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to return!
My husband and I had a lovely 2-night stay in this annexe set in the countryside. Very quiet and peaceful, with great views.
The host was very good at communicating everything with us and the directions up to the property were spot on (without which we may have struggled to find it as we arrived in the dark).
The only downside is the bathroom ceiling slopes and the shower is positioned in such a way that anyone taller than about 5 ft 10 would struggle to get in. Other than that a fully equipped cosy place to enjoy.
The kitchen is downstairs and has everything you need to cook in at night. Upstairs is a big bed. A sofa and TV with plenty of DVDs. The place is very clean and welcoming. The driving instructions get you there and I had no problems going up the lanes but it is single track. It rained the whole weekend but I still felt relaxed. Went and had lunch one day at Ye Olde Ferriers Inn down by the river Wye. Also wandered around the vintage shops in Ross on Wye. Had tea and scones. I did take my air fryer to save time with cooking after looking at another review but there’s a full sized oven there. I would love to return in the sunshine. Stunning views and the annex has its own garden too. Beautiful spot and friendly owners.
Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again.
This property is beautifully set up as a roomy studio apartment. It's comfortable, light-filled and well appointed. The area is glorious and the views from the back garden are expansive. The property managers were unobtrusive but very friendly and approachable.
The upstairs living/bedroom area has quite a sloping ceiling, being under a pitched roof, so if you forget to duck you will occasionally bump your head!
The main negative for us was that the approach road is very steep and badly maintained - 'maintenance' was being carried out when we arrived - and it can be rough on the vehicle and the driver's nerves as it needs to be taken at speed. However, once you are there it's a great place to stay.
