"The appartment in Alexandria is spacious (2 large bedrooms) and equiped with the necessary equipment (toaster, washingmachine etc.). We had to make contact ourselves to receive check in information, but once the contact was established, we got all the info we needed. It is located near the bus stop (2 min walk) to Balloch. "Despite the cute furnishings and perfect location, this property has not been maintained. Walls desperately need repainting and are marred throughout, both toilet seats were broken and sliding off the commodes, the kitchen sink drain leaks making cleaning up after cooking impossible. I notified the hosts who didn’t respond other than to say they’d be painting in between renters"

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"
