"We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Glinsk Bay Holiday Rental in Connemara, Galway, and "perfect" doesn't even begin to describe it! The location is stunningly serene, with breathtaking views across the bay and the mountains as a picturesque backdrop. Every morning, we were greeted with the beauty of the landscape right outside the windows, reminding us we were in a truly magical place. "This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...

"Beautiful location on the water. Fireplace for turf fires. Basic accommodations but basic is all you need in such a fantastic locality. The folks in Carna were accommodating. Be careful while driving here - but you probably already know that."

"We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"

"We enjoyed a lot our stay in Aine´s house. The house is confortable and spacious. The kitchen is big and convenient, close to the terrasse. The hot tub was appreciated at the end of the day. Kids loved to spend time with Poppy, the friendly dog ! We have visited Connemara and the aran island Inis oirr that we recommand."

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
