"The hotel has a wonderful location directly next to the nature reserve Lueneburger Heide. Just just have to walk a few steps to see endless fields of heather. Rooms were spacious and clean. It also has an elevator. The reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is due to lack of customer service. We arrived in the evening and asked where we could dine and the receptionist recommended the onsite restaurant. "Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."
