"We were 9 and had a great week at this villa. The pool area and pool house is where we hung out most of the time. Close to many beaches and Tropea. "The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"La villa Anna est décorée avec harmonie et la terrasse vous offre une vue incroyable. Il manque pas grand chose pour la monter en gamme : une cafetière qui ne fuit pas, du linge de maison correcte ( les serviettes sont usées et dépareillées, pas de torchons) et une poubelle digne de ce nom car il faut lutter tous les jours contre les chiens errants. "This holiday home is great for a couple or small family. Ideally located near the old part of town and also a small beach it has a large, safe outdoor area and a spacious lounge/living area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Though old it has character and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot by the sea. "

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "This is a great property with excellent staff. Breakfast was very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. There's a mini mart right across the street and cafes very close. Easy walking distance to main parts of town. Definitely recommend and would return."

"The room was simple but clean, a great home base while enjoying the area. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We had an issue with our toilet seat that was fixed shortly after we reported it. We easily walked everywhere we needed to, but the hotel was set away from the hustle and bustle so that was nice. As expected there was stairs to get to and from the beach so we got a bit of a workout but not so bad that we minded ot a few times a day, at the beach we could rent an umbrella and chairs for tbe day or just enjoy the other part of the beach without. The hotel beakfast was fantastic but we did not take advantage of the other meals available. We would choose this hotel again for the location, great staff, and cleanliness of the hotel. Oh, and the view... amazing! We planned originally for 2 nights at this hotel but ended up adding a 3rd before our trip and a 4th night after we were there a couple days because we enjoyed it so much. We traveled as two adults with a yound child."

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."
