"The hotel itself is beautiful and within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff on reception were especially friendly and helpful and arranged restaurant reservations for us and checked ahead with all these restaurants to make sure they catered for gluten free. "I love the style of the building and how convenient it is for everything . The team there made me feel very welcome and looked after my every need . It was an amazing location for the carnival as was on the carnival route . Eating lunch on the sunny terrace hearing the noise of the carnival below whilst drinking wine was great also handy for Lucca and Cinque Terra "

"Need to make the elevator less scary.... I did not use it after the first time , I was on the 5th floor and the elevator dropped 10-12 inches at the top. Decided to use all 124 stairs instead."

"I spent 5 night at the playa hotel and I did have a good time , the property was ok ish, it is close to the beach and all the shops and restaurant area so really good . The staff was really nice and helpful however the room was a bit too small but ok overall "
