My two story home is nestled the woods just a fee miles from historic downtown Lewisburg WV. The home provides total privacy, a large yard and several sightings of deer and wild turkey. Come relax and enjoy.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was just as described and in a very peaceful location. Host was very helpful and responsive when a question came up.

Would stay again. Nice large, clean, and convenient.
Quiet and secluded location, but not too far from town. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Had a wonderful time at Mountain Hideaway. We so enjoyed all the wildlife that visited in the mornings & evenings! Nothing needed; host provides everything for you to have a nice stay. Also, he responded promptly to all communications. Would definitely recommend to others.
I would definitely recommend this home to stay with friends & family. It’s nice & secluded for relaxation but also not too far from the town if you want to go out for dinner.
This place is amazing! The property was immaculate and very inviting. Cozy and peaceful home away from home, and stocked with everything you need for your stay. The host was very friendly and communicative if there were any problems (there weren't). Sitting on the porch swing enjoying the beautiful views and looking for wildlife, as well as enjoying s'mores in the firepit were our favorite things to do. We were just passing through for the night, but plan to bring our children next time and enjoy this place longer.
Ben has the best communication out of any other host I’ve spoken to at other houses. He is very helpful and there to answer any questions you have. The house was very nice and the property was very peaceful and quiet. It’s like you are tucked away in a peace of heaven but close enough to town.
The host was great, very accessible, quick to respond to questions. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great location. The location was convenient to Greenbrier and Lewisburg. It offered a quiet place to sit on the front porch after a busy day. We plan on returning next year.
The home was clean, accurately represented in the pictures, and fit our whole family comfortably. Ben was responsive and even came out one evening to take care of a wasps nest. The home is about 15 minutes from Lewisburg but a beautiful drive.
Very nice place. It’s at the end of a gravel road with leaves on the trees You cannot see one other house. You also can’t really hear any car going to either. It’s not out in the middle of nowhere. Probably 5 miles to town but it’s definitely by itself. We saw wildlife constantly. There were deer squirrel, birds, chipmunks everything you can think of in the front yard all week long, I would highly recommend this place for a peace quiet type of vacation
Stayed at this house with two friends. We were attending a training facility that we visit annually, and this location was minutes away. No cell service was a plus for us. We like to actually unplug when we come to West Virginia. But there was wifi - so we could text our families and FaceTime the kids goodnight. Owner of the property was quick to respond to messages but didn’t feel the need to come be involved with us at all (which we also really appreciated).
The only negative, which I shared with the owner, was that there were no shades or blinds on most of the windows. There were at some point and it looks like maybe they took them all down to do some painting. In the mornings that was a great way to wake up. Huge windows of the beautiful West Virginia wilderness. At night though, it was a bit odd. It’s literally just the woods outside but it would have been nice to close the blinds.
We would love to stay at the property again next year, and are very appreciative of the owners for letting us rent their house this year.
