Noisy, and a few other things
First off, we had a wonderful vacation in Rome, and this apartment is adequate. The location was near enough to Termini and a couple of other metro stops. The front gate adds a lot of security. The hot water is plentiful, and the tap water is great for drinking. However, there are a couple of inherent drawbacks to this apartment, and a few other things that could be rectified with a little TLC.
Noise: The apartment sits on a busy cobbled street, and the noise is really pretty bad. We all slept with ear-plugs in.
No gathering space: We had 6 family members, and while the bedrooms are large and comfortable, there isn't a great place to gather as a family...no real sitting area for 6.
The beds and pillows are really, really hard. I've heard this is common for Rome though.
The bathroom nearest the front door has a great shower, but the window is jammed shut. Couple this with a toilet that leaks around the base, and the whole bathroom becomes pretty swampy and unpleasant.
The bathroom nearest the kitchen is in better general shape, but the shower head loses about as much water from the hose as it directs at your body.
There's a good AC unit in each room, but only one working remote you can share between them. I had to ping the owner to figure that out.
The kitchen is small, dark, and not well equipped for cooking. No cutting board. A minimum random assortment of dishes and cutlery. There's a clothes iron, but no ironing board, etc.
