Worse stay in Europe
I recently toured a handful of cities in Europe with my family. I must say that all the hotels with the exception of Villa Lanusei were pretty good. To begin with, this so called hotel does not have air conditioners. The day temperature was around 44 degrees Celsius and at night the place was an dirty unpleasant oven. I called Hotels.com to complain about the lack of description on the website about the place lacking AC but they couldn't do much. I ended up using it as storage room for my suit cases, because at the second night by daughters and wife refused to stay there. In addition, the neighborhood appears run down and somewhat dangerous. I got back from central Rome pretty late the two nights that I spend there and nothing happen to us, nonetheless we felt unsafe. Finally, do not let yourself be misguided by the published pictures. While the rooms look similar and the linens are clean, the walls are white a dirty unlike the red clean walls shown on the pictures. Do yourself a favor do not waste your money by booking this so called hotel. Hotels.com shame on you for letting places like this advertise in your hotel. Next time I will make sure I stay away from your site.

Very nice hotel.
Luxurious hotel. Did I say unbelievably luxurious hotel for low price. Area nearby not great, but hotel has all you need at very good prices. Francesca the concierge was excellent, with good knowledge of area And how to get to Pompeii, and Capri. Hotel shuttle is reasonable and easy to use. Only thing is they have a wedding most every night, didn't bother us but some may not like the celebration atmosphere that runs to 11pm fireworks.

Hotel?
1. Ordered 2 single deds room, when arrived was notified that there only double bed room at this rate. Had to share bed with my daughter. Not sure if hotel mistake or Expedia. 2. No ac in all rooms I have been told, was uncomfortable at end of June. 3. Accordion slide door in shower that need to fight open or close. 4. Water warm and cold without ability to control. 5. Only one bottle of liquid hand soap is given for all purposes. 6. No shelf inside shower for soap. 7. Breakfast means a choice of pastry with cup of coffee and there is no dining room, you get the breakfast from what consider to be reception. 8. The so called breakfast served from 8 o'clock. 9. All doors are sliding doors to save space as hotel is an apartment building turned to hotel (no problem with it if done correctly and saw some that were) so uncomfortable. 10. Reception closed before 8 am and no one to talk to. It is hard to write the above as owner tried to help for example, wi fi was not connecting and he managed to contact the supplier and tjan got very good signle. But the above was exactly what we have witnessed. Mannaged (as was cleaned by receptionist) to glance at next room and was much bigger

Ok for the price
The room was ok. The bathroom was really small and uncomfortable to take a shower. Also the breakfast is minimal. Just a piece of bread and coffee.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!
This hotel is a scam. Please never book this hotel; ow, you will lose your money if you arrive hotel late and can not check in. We traveled in Italy and we did not have internet. So, we stopped a service area around 11:30PM and book this hotel using the available wifi. Then, we drove to the hotel and arrived there around 12:30AM, and found the neighbor is very dangerous and the gate was locked. We knocked the gate and call the interphone and no one answered and after banged the gate for 10 minutes, a guy answered the interphone, and said the reception is closed at midnight and he does not have a key so he could not let us check in. We had three children and we had to drove another few miles and stayed there. Then, I found that my credit card was charged. I called hotels.com and they said the money was taken from the hotel directly and hotels.com can not refund it. So, I called the hotel several times and they refused to give the refund. Please be aware of this hotel and DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL EVER!!!!!

the area is insecure
I actually tried to file a claim for a refund, but did not get any response. So, I am claiming here again. I booked Villa Lnusei and my credit card was charged, and when I arrived the facility, it was located very unsafe area. Then, I knock the door, and nobody replied. We had 3 children, and did not have any other choice but to keep knocking the gate. After about 10 minutes, one guy replied through the intercom. He said since I arrived after midnight, there was nobody in the reception and he did not have a key for us to check in. We booked around midnight and arrived there about 12:30AM. We felt insecure since the area was scary, and drove to another city and stayed there. So, we did not even stayed in the facility and my credit card was charged. I request the full refund. Please process it as quickly as possible.

Very enjoyable stay thank you!
We had a very nice week in Rome and could not have done it without the help of the hotel owner Giovanni. On arrival he provided us with a map, recommendations for tourist attractions and restaurants etc. Travel information covering every area of rome and how to reach the hotel from the airport. This was essential as it is impossible to see Rome without the use of their public transport. The room was cosy and although slightly out of the way, was well connected via bus and close to a small shop, patisserie and pizzeria. There was a problem checking into our flights on leaving and Giovanni rang the Italian airlines and printed off documents for us etc. Very helpful! We had a great time and would recommend this hotel.

Awesome location!
It was at a really local area which was super but still within a good distance to everything else. If you want some good coffee and legit food, this is the area to be in if you don't mind hostel/hotel type of place.

This place is very good value for money. The rooms are big with free wiFi. The rooms are clean but there is no air conditioning so it can get quite warm. The service was great, very helpful and breakfast was a simple croissant and coffee. All in all I would stay again for a couple of days!

Fantastic Hotel
Small but cozy, in a great area not too far from the main tourist attractions and very close to bus routes but in a quieter area than the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful; room was in great condition, very clean and comfortable, a fan would be nice as it was quite warm but still got a good night sleep. Breakfast of pastry, juice and coffee was great. A lovely hotel; really enjoyed my 4 nights here and would stay here again.

Terrible hotel! Too much money for too bad quality
The room was clean, but only that! There was not even a fridge to put a bottle of water. The towels were not changed for whole 4 days, also the sheets. The rooms were seperated with fake walls and all noise from neighbors were coming in. Bed layers were too bad and cheap quality. Bathroom had only a bottle of refillable soap and no even the necessary amenities. The salon for breakfast was too small and beside rooms of 1st floor, so all NOISE were coming in. We woke up every day at 8 due to noise. I would never recomend that hotel, not even for the lowest ever price!

Aqueduct View - Honeymoon in Italy
We had a very difficult time finding this hotel in Rome. Partly because our GPS wouldn't locate the street, or didn't know how to... This awesome little villa is tucked away off a main road along side the Roman Aqueducts. It is very nicely protected by an entry gate and privacy wall. This villa has adorable courtyard with a beautiful Lemon tree!! We were very nicely greeted by the Villa Manager - Giovanni. He recognized that we were on our honeymoon and treated us very well during our visit. We asked him many questions for directions, places to visit & eat. He never once let us down!! The rooms were very clean and considering how hot it got outside during the day stayed very well cooled without any air conditioning. We had a private bathroom and complimentary breakfast each morning. If we should ever find ourselves in need of a room in Rome we will most definitely look them up again!!!

Close to bus stops
Bus stops were very, very close and easy access to the Termini and all trains. Excellent accommodating staff. Giovanni went above and beyond as we noticed how he went out of his way to accomodate all guests. The hotel was quite a distance from the airport which is not unusal; but trying to get a lot of luggage to the train station via bus was impossible--had to use taxi service. Also Hotels.Com should let guests know which train to catch from the airport to the Termini, then which bus to take and where to get off to walk the 50 yards to the hotel--could have saved a lot of money. Rate was not bad for the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel.
