This large and comfortable apartment is located in an elegant area near the Vatican and the historic center. In 5 minutes on foot, crossing Ponte Cavour, you will reach Piazza di Spagna and in 10 minutes in San Pietro. The area is also served by the metro and numerous buses as well as full of shops, supermarkets and bars. Located in an Umbertine building, the apartment has all the typical characteristics: high ceilings, spacious rooms and floors with period tiles. It is a first floor with lift and consists of a living room with double sofa bed, dining room, equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, one bedroom with three single beds and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with Jacuzzi. From one of the rooms there is access to a small balcony with chairs and a small table overlooking the internal courtyard of the building. The furnishings are modern and functional. This apartment is ideal for a large family or group of friends, the perfect starting point for those who want to explore Rome with maximum comfort.

Great Walking Location!
We brought our kids and grandkids to Italy! This was a great location to walk to the Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, Castel Sant Angelo…everywhere! The apartment is big and everyone was comfortable!!

Great apartment, very comfortable homey feel. The place looked same as advertised in pictures. The location is fantastic! Next to almost everything important to see and do. Building is in good condition despite its age.

Really nice place
Exceptionally located apartment, walking distance from Vatican and historical center. Very comfortable connection with Fiumicino bus from Piazza Cavour, just two blocks away from the apartment. Nice and atmospheric old apartment building, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, very large and spacious. The host was very helpful, warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place and would return at next visit to Rome. Thank you!

I am writing on behalf of my son and daughter in law who stayed at the home with four of their son's and one son's wife. They had a wonderful time. Really appreciated Emanuel meeting them at the home and explaining all about the home and the area. Having a washing machine was very helpful. We had been traveling for days and needed to wash clothes. Thank you!

Property is very well located, easy to walk to Romes main attractions. Check in and communication with host was easy. Unfortunately this property needs some attention. One of the toilets was not working properly and with 6 guests this became a challenge. Also, shower was leaky and very small. The unit was not very clean.

Family visit to Rome
The property was as described and the recent reviews noted the flaws with the apartment. Small shower did not provide hot water and the large s bathroom shower bath tub shower was broken. Dispite that we (8) of us managed a shower. Location was prime and the security was great. Air conditioner in one room did not work but we were fortunate that the weather was good and fan that were provided was sufficient. Wifi was spotty but met our needs during our stay.

The property did not match the online listing. Not clean and not modern. The beds were very squeaky. There were stains on the chairs and sofa. One of the room AC didn't work.

Do not stay here. Place is simply gross. All bedding has stains along with furniture. Hot water was broken. AC was broken. Try and make you pay cash upon arrival. Does not reflect the pictures at all. Floors are sticky and floras, terrible experience

The apartment is spacious and well located. However, maintenance is overdue. Shower was leaking all over the hallway, toilets were broken, matrasses are past their prime. Furniture looks like it was bought from a student after years of partying. And most annoyingly there was no wifi. I would not recommend this apartment, until overdue maintenance is done.

We really liked the apartment and location. We had some trouble checking in. The instructions say to text or call before you arrive so that they can meet you there however texting does not work at all. We were out on the street at midnight for a while before we heard from anyone to meet and let us in. It could have easily been avoided if “text” was not included in the instructions. Otherwise, once we were there the contact was helpful and they provided a lot of options with touring the city. We did not use any of the ones they could help organize but having the options was a great bonus.

The Good, Bad, Ugly
The Good: Great location near Vatican and other sites, restaurants, shopping, art, etc. The Bad: One air condition unit was broken. Little to no hot water in shower. Minimal water pressure in shower, more of a trickle than shower. Shower was tiny and had no shelves for soap or shampoo. The Ugly: high "cleaning fee", mold in the shower room. Incomplete cookware. Pots and pans had no lids. Cheap bedroom furniture than creaked loudly with the smallest of movements. Had to "wrestle" with the door lock every time we came back. The apartment has so much potential if only it were maintained properly.

spacious property but a few downsides
The property was huge with plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was dirty - pillows were covered in brown stains so could do with a refresh. The shower head was broken so water poured out but still ok to shower in and plenty of hot water. The apartment is located in a great spot - there is a lovely restaurant just down the road and it is close to buses to take you all over the city very easily and cheaply. The only downside to being so central was the noise - Rome is very noisy with people and rubbish collections through the night! Overall great place but could do with a bit of maintenance and an update on some of the furnishings.

Convenient location
Apartment was conveniently located in atone without being in the busy downtown tourist area. Great restaurants around and easy access to bus stops to get whoever you need to go. We had no issues with the apartment and area. Thank you for a great vacation.

We thought everything was pretty good. We were a little nervous because a couple of times we couldn’t get one of the keys to work at the main entrance. Also we were concerned about getting the garbage sorted correctly, but I think we got it right.

Les principaux avantages de cet appartement sont - sa localisation vraiment idéale car proche de l'hyper centre de Rome, du Vatican et du parc Borghese, dans un beau quartier avec des restaurants et supermarchés, - sa surface globale, seule la cuisine est un peu étroite - l'immeuble est soigné avec une très belle cour intérieure Neanmoins nous avons moyennement apprécié le séjour car - les fenêtres sont très anciennes et peu isolantes du bruit de circulation (peu de voitures mais des scooters à toute heure du jour et de la nuit circulent dans la petite rue) - quelques détails d'usure du mobilier fâchent, la clim est peu efficace car mal entretenue, la déco est bien moins gaie que les photos de l'annonce le laissent penser. Dommage car c'est ce peu de choses qui ne permettent pas de dire que c'est parfait ! L'accueil de l'agence Weekly rental est très professionnel. Nous les avons sollicité pour remplacer un ustensile de cuisine, ce qui a été fait sur le champ.

Decepcionante
Decepcionante como he indicado en el título. Según llegamos no había luz en todo el barrio. Entendimos que no era un problema del piso, pero la agencia tampoco nos dió ninguna solución. Es más, quedaron en avisarnos cuando hubiera corriente y no lo hicieron. Tuvimos que contactar nosotros. En cuanto al apartamento muy sucio en general. A pesar de que aparte del alquiler nos cobraron la limpieza, esta no se apreciaba en el apartamento (disponemos de fotos). En cuanto al menaje de cocina muy escaso. Un solo paño, una bayeta sucia y un estropajo usado. Por ese precio que menos que poner una cosa de cada nueva. Platos, vasos y cubiertos los justos, es más, para más de 5 personas no había, siendo hasta para 7 personas. Por no haber no había ni una fregona. Los armarios estaban llenos de cosas del dueño. Que menos que estuvieran cerrados para que no pudiéramos verlos. Solicitamos una plancha y todavía la estamos esperando. En la cama de matrimonio no se podía dormir, la cama estaba floja y sonaba todo el rato. Las almohadas estaban amarillas del sudor de otras personas. El bidé con manchas amarillas como salpicaduras de orina. El desagüe de la ducha estaba asqueroso, sin contar con que no disponía de un teléfono para ducharse en condiciones. El aire acondicionado de una de las habitaciones no funcionaba, y habían puesto un ventilador. El sofá estaba medio roto, en algunas zonas no había ni relleno, solo el armazón con la tela. Solo teníamos una llave y los dos telefonillos no funcionaban. La presión de agua en los baños era muy escasa. El papel higiénico y el champú y gel muy escaso para 5 personas y 3 días, para eso que no dejen nada, aunque por el precio del alquiler que menos que dejar 3 rollos en cada baño. En resumen, es un alojamiento pensado para pernoctar y ducharse y en nuestro caso desayunar, pero no ha cumplido con las espectativas. Muy caro y poco acondicionado para este uso.

What you see is what you get
Apartment was spacious clean and well-located. It was missing a few items we have commonly found in our VRBO rentals. We also have a short term rental of our own and we provide enough to make each guest comfortable on arrival. What we had to buy was dish soap, paper towels, napkins and our own garbage bags. Now the house has everything you expect when you arrive. Not a big deal, but its a nuisance to have to go to the store before you unpack.
