This large and comfortable apartment is located in an elegant area near the Vatican and the historic center. In 5 minutes on foot, crossing Ponte Cavour, you will reach Piazza di Spagna and in 10 minutes in San Pietro. The area is also served by the metro and numerous buses as well as full of shops, supermarkets and bars. Located in an Umbertine building, the apartment has all the typical characteristics: high ceilings, spacious rooms and floors with period tiles. It is a first floor with lift and consists of a living room with double sofa bed, dining room, equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, one bedroom with three single beds and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with Jacuzzi. From one of the rooms there is access to a small balcony with chairs and a small table overlooking the internal courtyard of the building. The furnishings are modern and functional. This apartment is ideal for a large family or group of friends, the perfect starting point for those who want to explore Rome with maximum comfort.

Do not stay here. Place is simply gross. All bedding has stains along with furniture. Hot water was broken. AC was broken. Try and make you pay cash upon arrival. Does not reflect the pictures at all. Floors are sticky and floras, terrible experience

Property is very well located, easy to walk to Romes main attractions. Check in and communication with host was easy. Unfortunately this property needs some attention. One of the toilets was not working properly and with 6 guests this became a challenge. Also, shower was leaky and very small. The unit was not very clean.

Family visit to Rome
The property was as described and the recent reviews noted the flaws with the apartment. Small shower did not provide hot water and the large s bathroom shower bath tub shower was broken. Dispite that we (8) of us managed a shower. Location was prime and the security was great. Air conditioner in one room did not work but we were fortunate that the weather was good and fan that were provided was sufficient. Wifi was spotty but met our needs during our stay.

The Good, Bad, Ugly
The Good: Great location near Vatican and other sites, restaurants, shopping, art, etc. The Bad: One air condition unit was broken. Little to no hot water in shower. Minimal water pressure in shower, more of a trickle than shower. Shower was tiny and had no shelves for soap or shampoo. The Ugly: high "cleaning fee", mold in the shower room. Incomplete cookware. Pots and pans had no lids. Cheap bedroom furniture than creaked loudly with the smallest of movements. Had to "wrestle" with the door lock every time we came back. The apartment has so much potential if only it were maintained properly.

The property did not match the online listing. Not clean and not modern. The beds were very squeaky. There were stains on the chairs and sofa. One of the room AC didn't work.

Helpful host, spacious apartment
I am writing on behalf of my son and daughter in law who stayed at the home with four of their son's and one son's wife. They had a wonderful time. Really appreciated Emanuel meeting them at the home and explaining all about the home and the area. Having a washing machine was very helpful. We had been traveling for days and needed to wash clothes. Thank you!

Great Walking Location!
We brought our kids and grandkids to Italy! This was a great location to walk to the Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, Castel Sant Angelo…everywhere! The apartment is big and everyone was comfortable!!

spacious property but a few downsides
The property was huge with plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was dirty - pillows were covered in brown stains so could do with a refresh. The shower head was broken so water poured out but still ok to shower in and plenty of hot water. The apartment is located in a great spot - there is a lovely restaurant just down the road and it is close to buses to take you all over the city very easily and cheaply. The only downside to being so central was the noise - Rome is very noisy with people and rubbish collections through the night! Overall great place but could do with a bit of maintenance and an update on some of the furnishings.

Apartment was conveniently located in atone without being in the busy downtown tourist area. Great restaurants around and easy access to bus stops to get whoever you need to go. We had no issues with the apartment and area. Thank you for a great vacation.

We thought everything was pretty good. We were a little nervous because a couple of times we couldn’t get one of the keys to work at the main entrance. Also we were concerned about getting the garbage sorted correctly, but I think we got it right.

What you see is what you get
Apartment was spacious clean and well-located. It was missing a few items we have commonly found in our VRBO rentals. We also have a short term rental of our own and we provide enough to make each guest comfortable on arrival. What we had to buy was dish soap, paper towels, napkins and our own garbage bags. Now the house has everything you expect when you arrive. Not a big deal, but its a nuisance to have to go to the store before you unpack.

We really liked the apartment and location. We had some trouble checking in. The instructions say to text or call before you arrive so that they can meet you there however texting does not work at all. We were out on the street at midnight for a while before we heard from anyone to meet and let us in. It could have easily been avoided if “text” was not included in the instructions. Otherwise, once we were there the contact was helpful and they provided a lot of options with touring the city. We did not use any of the ones they could help organize but having the options was a great bonus.

Good location and apartment, excellent hosts
This was a good location for us near the Vatican. Easy cab rides or long walks to the other tourist sites in Rome. The building was nice, near restaurants and markets. The apartment was nice, plenty of room and clean. It could use an update to the furniture and some maintenance TLC but nothing that prevented a great experience.

Central location in the Prati
Location is great, within walking distance to the centro and all of the sights from the Forum to Trastevere to the Vatican. The apartment itself is spacious but a bit sterile feeling; the listing is by a management company rather than a private owner, and lacks some of the warmth, hominess, and personal attention to detail we have experienced staying in other VRBOs. Communication with WeeKey Rentals was fine, but there are a few minor items we would note for the benefit of other travelers: the wifi signal is very weak; the drain in the smaller bathroom is slow, producing standing soapy water in the stall when you shower; the wall air conditioner in the master bedroom has a make-shift tray under it to catch condensation, and emptying it is a bit of an adventure: you have to carry the full, shallow tray across the hall to the bathroom, and spills are more or less inevitable. In short, apart from some minor annoyances, the apartment is a serviceable choice, particularly if spaciousness and location are priorities.

The company was professional, good communication, and on time for getting in location. The location was good for walking in multiple directions to a lot of Rome plus the Vatican is very close (in Rome terms). The place is large enough and the air worked pretty well for Europe (for 90+ F heat). Also pretty safe area....a little walk to subway (8+ blocks) but not so far you could not use it. The main problems were 1) the internet was slow to very slow - not as in I want to stream netflix but just trying to book train tickets. I was on business and needed much better capability 2) the place needs a face lift. Furniture is very cheap, paint, cleaning not very good. A little money and this would be a very nice place (which is why I am posting the review).

Spacious, Comfortable Apartment in Rome
We booked this apartment at the very last minute because our original reservations were cancelled, so we were going to make the best of it. We used the same Management Company's to schedule car service and worked out perfect from Termini Station to the apartment. Emanuele greeted us at the apartment when we got there. We paid an extra 25 euros because we checked in after 9pm, but he spent over an hour with us getting us comfortable in the apartment and with the surrounding area, shops, restaurants, etc. Emanuele provided us with a map and gave us great tips! The apartment turned out to be very comfortable and spacious for 5 adults and 1 child. We realized when we were there that there weren't any tvs, but that was ok since we were out sightseeing most of the time. The apartment was very clean. Plenty of towels were provided. We didn't use the kitchen at all, but it's convenient to have. The iron in the apartment did not work, but we were delivered a brand new one the next day, which I was very happy with since I like wearing freshly pressed clothing. The washing machine was very convenient as well. Each room had an AC unit in, which worked great since it's pretty warm in July! We booked in advance car service to take us back to Termini station, but they did not show up after 30 minutes and several calls to their office. I was told the driver went to the wrong address, but after 30 minutes we had to leave since we had a train to catch. We got 2 taxis (since it was 6 of and 6 pieces of luggage). We got to the station in a bit over 10 minutes and for about 25 euros which was half of what we paid for car service. We were refunded the return car service in full almost immediately after advising we had to take a taxi. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a family, but not the car service- you can catch a taxi almost everywhere to take you where you need to go within the city.

Spacious is right!
This apartment in Rome was perfect for our group of people. The apartment was extremely comfortable and spacious and the location was a perfect homebase for our city visit. The apartment afforded privacy and a lot of space to each bedroom and included a large kitchen, dining room and living room and the 2 bathrooms (with 1 jacuzzi tub) were an amazing bonus for the price. Raphael met us on our arrival and was waiting for us. After helping us with our bags, he quickly reviewed everything that we needed to know and spoke perfect english. He ensured that we would have everything that we needed and left his number for any questions we may have. He also made sure someone brought another set of towels later that day. The apartment was about 2 blocks from the nearest metro station which was perfect for our getting around the city. There were many restaurants and cafes in the area, I definitely recommend Astoria as it was probably one of the best meals we had in Europe! The apartment has a small elevator, but the apartment was only 1 floor up so we just walked except for when we were transporting our luggage. The WIFI was slow in the master bedroom because it was far away from the router, but it was fine. All those in my group were very happy with this apartment and would definitely recommend to stay here.
