We ended up here after a very long trip that started in Israel and took us through Spain, France and Italy. We probably arrived during the hottest time of the year (no joke, 120 degrees Fahrenheit). The apartment was great - very large and welcoming (nice living space, netflix, good kitchen).
The host was amenable to letting us check in early and the apartment was clean, the beds were comfy and communication was easy (mostly done via What's App so just make sure you are comfortable with that). There is a small grocery store right around the corner which was great.
The location can't be beat and importantly, the air-conditioner was to American standards which was beyond welcome given the heat was literally unbearable to the point where it made the whole trip (with kids) pretty difficult.
My husband who is really picky about where we stay quickly said the place was great and he is one of the most critical lodging people I ever met.
Only real watch out: The elevator is very, very small (room for a suitcase and one person barely). This did not bother me, I didn't care, we took shifts and my kids just ran up the stairs) but just something to be aware of. The walk up is pretty strenuous if you are older but there is an elevator -- it just might pose challenges if someone has mobility issues and they have walking assistance tools beyond a cane (wheelchair, walker, etc.).
Only other suggestion is better lighting (more standing lamps, etc.)
Would highly recommend!
