Welcome to my apartment: it is located in the middle of the oldest district of Rome, the 'Rione Monti', which has kept its popular spirit alive. Now, as in the old days, the whole area is a bustling maze of shops, artisans, restaurants, taverns, bars, trendy bars, art galleries, antique shops and more. And 'here that Julius Caesar was born in 100 BC and the great fire of Nero in Rome took place in AD 64: These streets are the true testimony of the history of Rome ... get ready to sleep in the middle of it all!

The apartment HomeSweetRome is a mezzanine on the first floor, consisting of a bedroom with double bed, a living room with a sofa-bed for 2 people and a bathroom with shower. Inside you will find everything you need for the best stay in Rome: air conditioning and heating, LCD TV with DVD player, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, tourist guides and maps. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hobs, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave, kettle, juicer, toaster, coffee maker and more to allow you to cook your own meals.

Nearby, if you wish, you can rent bikes and scooters. However, the metro is just 5 ??minute walk, but more importantly, HomeSweetRome is really in the heart of Rome, from here you can quickly reach on foot:

We just stayed for a week at this property. Excellent communication with the host , they adjusted some things for me so I can leave my luggage before check in time. We loved everything flat, location etc I have no complaints. If you are looking for a great property while you are in Rome. This is the one. You can literally walk to anything (sightseeing sights)if you want. Or Uber , it’s cheap. Thank you for a great experience!

Five Stars Are Not Enough
We had such a great stay in Rome, and it all started with this place! From start to finish everything was better than we’d expected or hoped. We were met upon arrival, given the tour, the keys and within mere steps were among the ancient ruins with a view of the Colosseum! Talk about location! Good food and drink right outside your door. And we were able to walk to almost any major attraction! We won’t hesitate to stay again when we return to Rome!

Fabulous location with great walkable access to all of Rome's tourist attractions in the old City. Nice little restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and a small corner store for snacks. Quiet with no traffic noise and air conditioning in both rooms, which was great. Would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I had a glorious 2 nights in Rome. The location is central to amazing restaurants and historical must-see sights and museums. Check-in was personalized by Alice and there are so many lovely touches in the apartment. Including one of the most thoughtful guest books listing sights, restaurants, apartment information. It was so great that o took pics of their recommendations for our MIL’s upcoming trip. There is a lot packed into this apartment - great books, kitchen well equipped, laundry, comfortable pillows and extra touches through out. The windows block out most of the people noise at night (which is hard to do in this vibrant city!) We look forward to returning.

Great Location and Accomodations
For 2 adults this location was fantastic! We walked to many historical sites from here including the Colosseum and Forum (which is very close) as well as to Vatican City which was a 30-40 minute walk. The unit is only up one small set of stairs and has very close access to dozens of restaurants.
