A clean, reasonable property close to key attractions and stations. Customer service was really good. Comfortable bed. Sound proofing between rooms is good but not as good between the lobby area and the room (but it this isn’t an issue if you’re out most of the time anyway)

The staff (Antonio, Naweesha, and Zakir) at Rione Monti Suites were wonderful! They helped organize our transportation from the airport and provided us with recommendations for places to eat and visit during our stay in Rome. If we needed additional toiletries (towels) or had any questions, they were quick to accommodate and answer them for us!

Central and comfortable
Rione Monti Suites was a convenient place to a stay and a relaxing place to rest after a long day of tours and walks around Rome. Antonio was so helpful when we checked in, offering restauraunt, dish, and tourist attraction recommendations. Our suite was kept tidy, the AC worked great, and the building was quiet aside from occasional passersby in the hallway, which was expected. Thank you for an excellent stay!

We had an amazing time with our stay at this hotel. Razik took the time to wait for us during our late check in due to a train delay. He was friendly and he explained everything about our stay. He also suggested places to eat and where to go. The room was super clean and had a lot of space. The place also allowed us to store our luggage for free in the morning before heading to the airport. Overall, they provided good customer service. I definitely recommend this place!

Great location! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. 5-10 minutes from Bus Tour stops, 10 min walk for metro station, 15 minutes to coliseum, etc. Again, great location! Finding it might be very tricky. Look for a wooden door on the very right of the building; almost at the corner. On the right side of the door, there is a tiny buzzer that says Rione Monte Suites. (Street names are on the marble plaques 15 ft above the street on the corner of the building; at the intersection.) As far as accommodations, they are ok. Small rooms. Rather crowded. We stayed there in April and it was so humid in the room that nothing dried. Our towels were always wet. And they did not give us new towels until the 4th day of the stay and only because we just left them as a wet pile on the floor. Slight mold in the bathroom, on the ceiling and in the shower. The front desk attendant is there only 9:00-2:00, so if you need anything, make sure you are at the “hotel” at that time. We had daily tours booked, so we never had a chance to ask for our breakfast vouchers that they did not give us when we checked in. Check out is at 10:00 am. If your flight is later in the day, you can leave your bags at the hotel, but have to pick them up before 2:00, because you’ll submit the keys at 10 and wouldn’t have a way to go back pick up the bags when the front desk attendant leaves. Another great alternative is leaving your bags at the Bag Drop off location 5 minutes down the street. Use the app Bounce

Good size family rooms, very clean and tidy. Great shower, comfortable bed. Fantastic location, walking distance from all the main sites in Rome and an easy bus/metro ride to Vatican City too. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Great value
Given what Italy's been through, I wanted to stay somewhere run by locals rather than a chain. Very clean, spacious room. Good shower, no issues with hot water; aircon was fine and controllable in the room which was perfect. Close to Termini station and the colosseum and on a quiet street. Wifi was excellent (I was in room 4 and noticed there was a booster in the room). TV was small and I didn't bother with it so can't comment. The room looked out onto inner courtyard so it was bright. I'd say excellent value; there are restaurants and cafes close by but as of early July 2020 was still Covid-quiet generally in Rome. The only issue was with check in. I booked the day before and the hotel didn't get the message so I had to call the manager to arrange to be there to let me in etc. At first he couldn't find the booking etc. I would stay there again but I'd say don't wait for the hotel to contact you when you book; call them and set a time as they need to send someone to "man" reception. The guy did arrive within 15 mins when I called and was really helpful. Other plusses as a solo traveller - doors with proper keys and they gave me a nice big room with two sets of towels even though I was alone.

Stayed for 5 nights in early August & it was really awesome! My friends & I chose this place because of its location (5 minute walk from Colosseum, 10 minute from Termini Train Station, 15 minute walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, etc.) & do not regret it. There are only 6 suites, so it feels pretty quaint. Our room (queen + twin bed) had very cold A/C & comfy beds + nice bathroom. The host, Zakir, helped us with absolutely everything & instantly made it feel like our own apartment. After unpacking our stuff, Zakir circled everything of interest on the map & gave us instructions on how to get there easily. All around a very nice place & would 100% recommend over one of the larger hotels.

Check in was fast and easy, luggage storage after check out was great to have as my flight was late. Easy to find and it is only a 10 minute walk my terrami. Room is of good size and clean. Quiet area, most places of interest are 10 to 25 minutes walk away. No issues with WiFi. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good value for money. Would recommend for a short stay. You don't go to Rome to stay in your room...
