This Trastevere Penthouse ("angelishouse" - unit B) is a top floor apartment with stunning Panoramic Roof Terrace (private).
This apartment is located in the Heart of Rome Historical centre ("trastevere" district). The lower level consists of living room with kitchen corner & sofa bed. The upper level consists of bedroom, bathroom with shower box ("travertino" marble made) and access to the stunning Panoramic Roof Terrace.
The PANORAMIC ROOF TERRACE has a WONDERFUL view on Rome rooftops (including St. Peter dome).

Comforts: WIFI, A/C, flat TV, Satellite, Radio-CD player (with bluetooth to load Your music), washing machine, PANORAMIC Roof TERRACE (equipped with wood table & chairs, recliner arm-chair, "Weber" gas BBQ, led ambient lights and lot of plants, flowers and seasonal organic spices as basil and rosmarino.

This is an apartment ideal for two people but that can also accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (on sofa bed in living room).
NOTE: in the same building, side by side, is also located the apartment Trastevere Penthouse "unit A" (listing #289229: sleeps up to 4 people). Therefore, we can also accomodate larger groups too.

This property is located quite INSIDE the "Old" Historical centre ("Trastevere" district). All the major sites are located at VERY easy walking distance.

NOTE: the upper level, cause is the located quite under the roof, has a low headroom in some areas (headroom in the upper level goes from 1.70 mt to 2.70 mt - please see photos of the interior).

Trastevere Area: the most typical Roman neighbourhood is located just over the bridge from the historical centre (and that is what the name means, over the Tevere river) became very trendy over the past twenty years, when the small streets and alleys typical from this area started hosting bars and restaurants together with some trendy shops still located in the area. The neighbourhood is the liveliest of the city and extremely crowded in the weekends. Beside shops, also very famous the Santa Maria in Trastevere church, known as one of the oldest Christian churches in Rome.

This is a "NO smoking" property (with the only exception of terrace area).

I will be ALWAYS available during your stay (my mobile is 24h on).
I (or an other member of my family only) will PERSONALLY met You and help with luggages on arrival day :)

TOURIST CITY TAX (!): it costs 6.00 euro per person, per night for any guests aged over 10 years old. This municipally tax is calculated only for the first 10 nights of your stay. This tax will be paid (only by cash) upon check in.

Wonderful place to stay in Rome
We stayed for 6 nights, I would highly recommend Alessio's place. Perfect size apartment for 2, very convenient and thoughtfully stocked including minor details like shopping bags and umbrellas. All was clean, beds are comfortable, all was working properly. Enough compliments were said already about the location and I agree 100 percent, it's close to all the attractions yet is on the charming street and away from the tourist noise. The owner is nice, polite, responsive and helpful. Thank you very much, Alessio!

Trastevere Stay
We recently stayed at Alessio’s apartment in Trastevere while we were in a Rome for 5 nights. We could not have asked for anything better. The apartment was lovely with an amazing rooftop terrace where we were able to relax at the end of a day. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook up a couple of dinners, that we were able to eat on the terrace while enjoying the sights and sounds of the area. Alessio as a host was wonderful. He was there to meet us for check-in, helped us get our luggage up to his apartment, and showed us through the apartment while explaining everything. He was always available if we had questions. He also supplied a very thorough list of what we needed to know for the area as well as recommendations for food, alcohol, shopping etc. should we ever be back in the area we would want to stay here again! It was the best start to our Italian journey that we could have asked for.

This adorable unit was absolutely spectacular! Bonus rooftop terrace was an added bonus. Not to mention the beautiful concert piano and violinist across the street that played most nights. It was absolutely magical! Highly recommend and plan on returning. Alessio was fabulous! He helped carry our luggage up and then down the 5 flights.

Small but Special
Alsessio’s property requires ‘a climb’, as it is a penthouse apartment. You walk into a small ‘living room’ with a small table table and chairs for two, and a small sofa and a refrigerator and 2 burners. (Trust me, you are unlikely to be cooking in this apartment even though it is adequately stocked.) If you aren’t willing to climb out the windows of the upstairs bedroom onto a tiled terrace (with larger table and chair and umbrella for shade) you will find this apartment ‘too small’. The outdoor terrace atop this 4 flour walk-up is what makes it so special. The local is perfect. Many shops and dining opportunities along with other recommendations from your host, Alessio. At the end of your stay youare required to take any trash downstairs and a few blocks down the street to a the street to larger ‘city bins’. I found this task odd to be asked to do as you must also climb down those 76 steps with your luggage at visit’s end. That said, the terrace is what is magical about this property and your host, Alessio, is a very responsive owner and kind, too.

Perfect place to stay to enjoy the true Roman experience
Set in the characterful area of Trastevere, this quirky apartment is a perfect retreat from the busy city - yet close enough to walk to all the sights of Ancient Rome. Lovely terrace for quiet evenings. Small interior space and fairly limited kitchen, but nice restaurant on the doorstep. One caveat - 76 stairs to the apartment and no lift!

Charming apartment in Trestavere
Alessio's penthouse apartment is wonderful and includes everything you need for a visit to Rome and to immerse yourself in a cool Rome neighborhood. Very clean, very welcoming, and the terrace is awesome. We spent every evening having wine and snacks and enjoying the skyline on the Terrace. Alessio is also a great host. He met us at the apartment, assisted with our luggage, and showed us around the apartment and how everything operated. He provide many excellent recommendations for dinner, groceries, coffee, and sight seeing. Alessio also ordered us a taxi for our ride to the Airport. Great accomodations and great host. An absolute MUST
If you are staying in Rome, you should absolutely stay here! Alessio is a wonderful host, giving you all the tips and tricks before you even arrive. The apartment is on a perfect Trastevere street, right next to a wonderful restaurant and walking distance to most of the must see sites of Rome. The apartment its self is clean, cozy and very comfortable. We ended every busy day with a drink on the terrace over looking Rome and watching the sun set. This is an absolute must! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rome!

Amazing Stay
We had a wonderful stay! The terrace was a quiet and beautiful sanctuary at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was incredibly clean. So many restaurants to choose from within a short walk. Our favorite was the one right beside the front door! I was dreading the stairs but they actually were not that bad! Allessio made our first stay in Rome a wonderful experience. The rooftop terrace apartment is well equipped with everything needed. We found the Trastevere neighborhood to be a perfect location. Centrally located to Rome's major attractions and in the middle of local nieghborhood piazzas and restaurants. Allessio provided excellent recommendations on local restaurants and shops. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment, but well worth the effort because of the great location. We really enjoyed the terrace in the evening with a nice bottle of vino and a take away dinner. It is a peaceful oasis in the middle of bustling Rome.

Cozy and charming rental
My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Alessio’s one bedroom vrbo in November 2023. Top floor, 75 steps but worth it. Very quiet neighborhood. Roof top terrace was a treat to enjoy on a sunny afternoon. Weber bbq did a great job of cooking the kebabs that we bought at the supermarket that easily within walking distance. Super location. Close to colosseum, Paletine and the Vatican. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Car rental not needed. Would stay here again.

Great Stay
This place was super great. We loved the neighborhood. It was just in a quiet part of the Trastevere neighborhood and in a 2 minute walk you were in the very lively part of the neighborhood. There were so many great restaurants around. We really enjoyed staying in this neighborhood. We still walked to all the major attractions like the Trevi fountain and the Colosseum, it is definitely super walkable. The apartment itself was super cute and clean. Alessio had great communication was super helpful. He gave some great recommendations for restaurants near us as well as a little orientation to the neighborhood. He was available whenever we needed via WhatsApp and even booked our cab home. He was kind enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco as it was our honeymoon. The apartment had everything you needed and the rooftop terrace was super nice and great for enjoying some wine and snacks. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful home in Rome
I can summarize everything by saying that I will absolutely stay here every time I come back to Rome. Alessio was a great host- provided all the information we needed, very responsive to texts, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was everything we hoped for: clean, safe, and quiet; in a great location, with plenty of restaurants just outside the front door. The roof deck, though, is what truly set it apart: it was a great spot for a quiet breakfast before the city wakes up, or for an afternoon aperitivo, or a last glass of wine before bed. We loved our stay!
