Strict rules,
Hotel wouldn't accept my cancelation even though I cancelled within 24 hours. And my stay was 4 weeks away. Very bad business.

Do not stay here
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it is central. The beds are uncomfortable, breakfast is stale leftovers and rooms are noisy. When we arrived our room was not ready due to a plumbing issue, no worries ww will be back at 5pm. The staff member asked us to wait and she would speak to the manager. An hour later it was decided that the room would not be ready for us and another motel was organised by the manager. We were happy to relocate but it was obvious that we were never staying in that motel on our first night and should have been relocated via email or on our arrival. We were down for breakfast with our bags by 8am and headed out for the day. When we arrived back (8pm) at Nazional Rooms our room was ready and our bags had been brought across. We had a room opposite the reception area and were given keys. When we opened the door the smell was indescribable. I asked the reception staff if there was another room available "no", I asked if we could again be relocated "no". Trying to make the best of the situation I opened windows, covered the bathroom drains and asked for air freshener. The staff member brought in the air freshener and left the room coughing and gagging from the smell. We asked for a refund on our next night if there was still not a room available or discount "no". I travel regularly and things do go wrong, however, the manager had no consideration for his guests only that he was paid for a room. Do not stay here!

Very basic, but ok for the price. A lot of traffic noise from Via Nazionale. Breakfast was just a voucher for coffee, croissant and orange juice in a local bar.

Good location, basic but clean.
Good location - 10 mins walk from Termini Station and walkable to most areas of the city you'd likely want to see. It took us roughly 20 minutes to walk to either the Forum area, the 'Old Rome' area, Piazza Barberini or Piazza di Spagna. The hotel is quite basic and has some interestingly shaped rooms - ours had an angled ceiling with lots of low beams which were difficult to navigate. However, the beds were comfortable enough and the place was pretty clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is included, though only consists of a pastry and drink from a nearby cafe. Worth noting that there is a (small) elevator which does not operate between all floors, so climbing some stairs is inevitable. Not a problem for us but it could be a problem for those with mobility issues. For the price, compared to other hotels in a similarly handy location, this was a good find. If you're just need a basic, clean place to sleep, this place is ok.

Cheap and convenient.
Convenient location at a cheap price. Travel lodge style where everything is adequate but nothing extra and fancy-just what we required for a trip where we spent little time in the room. We never tried the breakfast so could not comment. Its on the fourth floor so not suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs. I would recommend this hotel as for the price it is just what you expect, no frills but everything you need.

Great location, basic but comfortable.
Basic, but clean and tidy. Staff pleasant. Breakfast average, but good enough. Look for the sign above the wig shop. Go up the stairs to the fourth floor to find reception. Would stay again if in Rome.

Good hotel for price.
The hotel is basic with spartan rooms but very clean. Though a tv is in the room and the hotel also offers free wifi which was great. Fairly good location and could walk to all the major sights except the Vatican though you are right by a the metro station that takes you to the Vatican stop and also the stops for Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps (though can walk both in about 15 minues and see some of the city). Would definitely recommend to people and would stay again when in the city. Also has a great roof terrace for breakfast and I believe that you can also use it during the day (didn't use it but another guest said they had evening drinks and snacks up there - they bought their own, the hotel doesn't provide this)

No frills, friendly, small and clean.
It was tiny and clean. The people were very nice. I think the location was great for sight seeing and very close to the train station which was very convienient! The neighborhood was hectic and busy as you expect in a large city but i never felt unsafe. My room was tiny but as a single traveler i kind of liked that. It was also spotlessly clean! My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi never worked. Internet access is one thing a hotel MUST have for me. As solo traveler overseas it is usually my only communication with home and for any emergencies that come up. I was told there was a problem my first day but it never did work. Other than that, it was a very nice, clean and no frills place to stay in a safe and central location run by by very nice people. I would stay there again.

great location, but some definite problems
I would warn anyone staying here that this place will look nothing like any hotel you've stayed in. It's a little hard to find because the door front is a wig shop, which is on the ground floor. Once you get up to the floor that is marked for NazionalRooms, it's still not all that clear you're in the right place. The "front desk" is literally a tiny desk crammed into the corner of a stairwell, and while the guys who work there are nice, you'll probably never see them aside from in the morning. If you're certain you won't need any service or assistance, I'd say great, stay here. But otherwise--forget it. You'll have to call one of the employees on a cell phone (listed in the hallway) in order to get anyone. The positive---great location, very cheap, and clean.

It's no Hyatt, but what the heck
I was 6.5 months pregnant so the stairs were a challenge but I tried to walk up and down almost every time. The lift was a great asset considering there is no way I would have gotten the bag up on my own. The clerk for the B&B was very helpful in carrying my bag up to the main floor upon arrival because the lift wasn't working. Yet, they went out of their way to make sure it was working during the rest of my stay. Staff were always available during the normal hours so i had no difficulty asking about getting a taxi when I left, paying for the room, etc. The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors as well as the busy traffic just outside the window. I am a very light sleeper and I ended up using ear plugs almost every night I was there due to the traffic on the street below. Great location. You are right near the train and you can take the train all around to the hotspots. I walked for the most part. The Spanish steps were not far nor the Pantheon, or Campo Di Fiori. It was a great experience and the rooms were very simple. The WiFi was great the whole time i was there and I didn't have any issues with the signal especially when I was skyping back to the US. The TV was nice too but it was refreshing to hear English every once and a while on MTV. It was also nice to have a clock in the room.

Great Location, A Good Deal
I really enjoyed my five-day stay at Nazional Rooms. The hotel is located very close to the metro and Termini station, and I felt like I was right in the heart of Rome. Our room was kept very clean, and it was very quiet. I did find that the shower was very small by American standards, but everything worked well. The staff was helpful. The free breakfast was also small by American standards, but I liked the cafe where we had breakfast. I would definitely consider staying at Nazional Rooms again when I return to Rome.

Value for Money
this hotel is very centrally located with easy access to major tourist attractions. We were able to walk to all major tourist spots. The hotel has an elevator, which you will need to use since the steps are quite steep. The guy at the desk is also very helpful and gives you a map with directions etc.. The biggest benefit is that the hotel is located very close to the termini station (5 min walk). The bathroom was good. Bed could have been better. like all european hotels, the room is small. this is not a fancy place. the breakfast in the morning is a voucher to a local cafe that gives you juice, coffee and pastry. the hotel is great value for money.. no major complaints..

Our rooms were cleaned everyday.
Our rooms were cleaned everyday. There is an elevator, and for that, it made our stay a lot more comfortable. The hot water took some time to heat up. The toilet makes a very loud noise when you go to flush it. Outside traffic noise can be very easily heard from our room. There was a mini fridge and towels available in the room. There was also free wifi access. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The hotel was situated close to the metro, Termini station, and on Nazionale Rd, and so made getting around quite easy as public transportation frequented these areas. Overall, the stay was good, and I'd come back again.

Amazing value
Nazional rooms was everything I had hoped for in resonable pricing, great location, helpful service, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are small, but that fits with the price. I was only in Rome for a short time and thanks to the attendant, he explained the best way to get fit in all the places I wanted to plus some extras.

I really enjoyed Nazional Rooms
I really enjoyed Nazional Rooms Hotel Rome and would recommend it to anyone! Nice location, 10-min from the train station, near the subway, and within walking distance of the major touristic sites. It's on a main street so the area is safe at night. The room/bathroom was very clean. The hotel is small and on the 4th floor of a building. The rooms are modest but nice and big enough. The owner was very kind. Breakfast served in a small cafe just outside the building. I've had the best cappuccino of my trip in Rome there! They also offer free wireless internet access, which is something rare. I haven't tried other hotels in Rome but got the feeling it delivers a really good price/quality ratio. A few tricks: Unlike "standard" hotels, the access is just a regular door with a small sign. The best way of finding it is to look for the address (door number) instead of searching for a sign with the hotel's name. On the first floor there is a wig store so look for wigs ;-)

On arrival on Via Nazional, I was looking all over the place for a Hotel called Nazional Rooms. Then found out afterwards it was a bed and breakfast. The room was quite clean and spacious although the doors were not very soundproof at all. The owner of the place is very nice and I would recommend it to those who would like to live in a nice clean facility on a budget

decisamente no!

Ah no tenían plancha .
