I booked this B&B only because it said it had free parking; it turned out that they meant parking on the street and those of you who have been to Rome know that finding parking on streets of Rome is not an easy task. To arrive at my destination and to find out that I needed to drive around the neighborhood to find a parking was not what I was looking for. Alos, buyer be aware: breakfast at Munira means a cappuccino and a doughnut at the neighboring bar; nothing like a breakfast at a b&b in the US. We chose not to use it! After booking Munira, I needed another booking in Rome for a week later. Since I had been talking exchanging emails with the owner, I asked her for availability. I was told that I cold book a room at their other place for little more than I was paying at Munira. I accepted it. Another reviewer had written about their other place and I felt comfortable paying a bit more. After my stay at Munira was over and I was in Florence, I emailed the owner for the address of the other place I needed to return. No reply! I wrote again, another no reply! I had an Italian make a phone call at the number the owner had provided to make sure that I still had my reservation. To make a long story short, they increased the rate by about 45%. I had (still have) the email from owner quoting the initial rate but they would not honor their own quote. Very disappointed at the level of greed I encountered while stranded in another country!

Great B&B
They sent us to another place closer to the historical sites. Latter we moved back to Munira. We did not expected that so we were suspicious about the place they moved us to. But we realized that it was indeed a good move for us. Mauro and Fedrerica were nice. No complains at all. It is a great B&B. The lesson was: if they want to move you to their other place, accept it!

Close to Rome Centre
On our 3 week travel through Greece and Italy, this was our most modern facility we have stayed in. The owners was very accommodating in checking us in late. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with a very modern feel to it. However the Air Condition in one of the 2 rooms we have booked wasn't working, and the owners haven't really tried to resolve the problem. Hence we battling to sleep at night, being to hot, and if we open the windows, the outside noise is just unbearable. Also to remember this is not an Hotel, or Bed and Breakfast. This is more like self catering accommodation. The rooms don't get service daily, hence no clean towels or neatly made beds when you get home in the afternoon after a long hot day in Rome. Breakfast can be skipped, to wait for that you are wasting your time.

Stylish, well presented rooms, short walk to tram
We were warmly met by our host Franchesco, who showed us around the apartments and left us to settle in, We were given a number of maps and travel guides he then took us out for a coffee to the cafe where the b&b breakfast is served Franchesco walked us to the tram station, showed us where to buy tickets, he gave us his phone number and said we could call him anytime. The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated, and only less than 5 min walk from both the tram and train station, there are some wonderful local restaurants just around the corner. Franchesco was a wonderful host and could not do enough for us.

Good B&B close to transport
Munira is a brand new B&B on the edge of trastevere and they are trying really hard! The rooms are sweet with lots of litthe special touches. There was a maintenance problem with our first room. Besides moving us to a much better room, they lavished us with wine and sweets from the owners home district. The manager (only staff) was completely available, offering service above and beyond. The hotel is close to the Travestere station and tram 8 that connects t-shirt you to all of Rome.

Rummet var fint, stort och rent. Jag mötte ingen som jobbade på Munira undre de 4 nätterna jag hade bokat, men jag fick all info på sms så det var inga större problem. Frukosten lämnade mycket att önska, men allt i allt är jag mycket nöjd med boendet. Jag kan definitivt tänka mig att bo där igjen.

Mi vuelo se retrasó y llegué más tarde de lo planeado al check-in sin embargo recibí mucho apoyo por parte de Munira para poder instalarme. La cama muy cómoda y la ubicación aún más, el baño grande y todo limpio! En general, muy buen establecimiento.

Holpriger Beginn, insgesamt aber zu empfehlen.
Auf der Suche nach einer schönen Unterkunft in Trastevere mit Balkon waren wir auf dieses B und B gestoßen und hatten es etwas 3 Wochen vor unserer Ankunft gebucht. 3 Tage vorher erreichte mich dann die Nachricht, dass wir wegen Problemen mit dem Abwasser in eine zentralere Unterkunft umgebucht würden. Fotos dazu wurden mir allerdings trotz Nachfrage nicht zugeschickt, was mich etwas beunruhigte. Im Ergebnis zu Unrecht: Das Zimmer liegt in einer Vier-Zimmer-Wohnung (vielleicht sind es auch fünf) in der vierten Etage, ist nicht besonders groß, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und hat ein bequemes Bett. Es gibt eine wunderschöne, von der Küche aus erreichbare Dachterrasse, auf der wir bei gutem Wetter gefrühstückt haben. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse gut (Kaffee, Saft, Brot mit Marmelade/ Nutella, Kuchen und immer Obst). Die Wände der Wohnung sind dünn, mit den anderen Gästen gab es aber keinerlei Lärmprobleme. Sehr positiv fanden wir, dass die Vermieter offenbar auf eine frühere Kritik, dass man ab 8 Uhr wegen der Zubereitung des Frühstücks in der angrenzenden Küche nicht mehr schlafen könne, reagiert haben und die Küchenfee bis auf einen Morgen sehr leise war. Ebenfalls positiv: Die Vermieter waren (anders als wir...) pünktlich zur vereinbarten Schlüsselübergabe, außerdem durften wir das Gepäck am Abreisetag in der Wohnung lassen. Die Erreichbarkeit per Telefon, SMS oder WhatsApp könnte noch verbessert werden, insgesamt waren wir aber zufrieden.

Nous avons dû appeler pour qu'on vienne nous ouvrir le B&B après l'heure d'ouverture. Les chambres se trouvent dans un appartement d'immeuble classique un peu vieillot, mais elles ont été remises au goût du jour. Le petit déjeuner a le mérite d'être compris, mais les produit utilisés ne sont pas de très grande qualité. Le personnel est accommodant et nous apporte volontiers son aide. À refaire, pour le même prix, nous prendrions l'hôtel.

accomodatie bestaat uit 4 kamers in een appartementen complex. het is aan te bevelen om een exacte tijd tijd af te spreken wanneer je wilt inchecken anders sta je voor een gesloten deur. locatie is voor centraal rome niet optimaal maar met tram is het goed te bereiken. luchthaven is te bereiken in 30 min met een regionale trein die vanaf trastevere vertrekt (10 min lopen van accomodatie)

Ligger i ett fint område men är en bra bit att promenera till centrala Rom och till dom bättre delarna av trastevere, var dock lätt att ta sig in till stan med spårvagn, tåg och buss (vi provade alla alternativ). vi fick ett litet rom, "roma e" stod det på väggen. det låg precis bredvid receptionen och frukostrummet så det var väldigt lyhört, kändes inte speciellt privat. vid frukosten var det mycket oklart vad som serverades men bad man själv om äggröra kunde dom fixa det, annars fick man någon chokladbulle och kaffe... hotellrummet var mörkt, vilket var ett minus. men i övrigt mysigt och fräscht. skulle ej återvända pga läget, skulle hellre bo lite mer centralt. trevlig personal iallafall!
