My husband and I were pleased with our experience here. The owner communicated with us promptly prior to arrival and even secured transportation for us from the airport for 45 euros...which was the most affordable we could find. Make sure you have euros, however. They only reserve the transportation. We had to pay the driver on the spot when we arrived.
The space appears to be a condo that someone renovated into 4 private rooms with ensuites. It took us a moment to get use to the concept, but we ended up really enjoying the quaint experience and we rarely saw any of the other guests.
Everything in Rome is tight so don't expect as much space as you would typically find in an American hotel room, however, we were really impressed with how clean it was. You could smell the cleanliness from the entry door downstairs! We had a corner room and we absolutely loved being able to open the windows and hear the locals throughout the day and night.
We don't recommend getting the breakfast. Even though it's supposed to be a B&B, they charge an additional fee for breakfast and it is overpriced for the quality and quantity they give you. Also, expect to pay for lodging tax upon arrival. We reserved our room on VRBO and thought it was competitively priced until we arrived and discovered that we still had to pay for taxes and breakfast.
Overall, we were pleased. They gave us a mobile phone upon arrival which was helpful. It gave us free access to the internet so we could look up information and navigate the city during our stay.
