Not happy with experience. - our room was very small and not worth the price. Our washroom was overflowing, it’s not possible to take shower. It’s unfair to address it as 4 star property. This hotel only charges for location. Hotel wifi is pathetic and as a tourist wi-fi is the basic need. Elevators are too old. A big NO. Don’t waste your money here, you can find multiple hotels on same street.

We had booked the double room. The rooms are dark. Although there are windows and some rooms have balconies. We didn’t get hot water on the first morning. Upon enquiring the manager said “this area of the hotel usally not great” we were like why did we even get this room then? They changed our rooms while we were super tired. Next thing we ordered a couple of towels, cups and tea etc. that took 2 hours. I had to rush at the reception after 2 hours to get the cups. The answer was “sorry” thats it!! The service wasn’t great overall but stay was okay. Rooms do get hot at night though.

Noisy hotel
I arrived at 11:30 and the front desk clerk told me that check in was at 2 so the room wasnt available until 2. Thats ok but when i came back the new clerk told me the room had been cleaned a long time ago. The hotel turns off the AC st the end of summer. The room was warm during the day but cool enough at night. Breakfast is in a basement room down a winding corridor. I would rate the hotel higher but the place is extremely noisy. You can hear people going up and down the stone stairs, down the tiled halls, talking in the nearby rooms, and moving around in the floor above.

The staff was rude to us. Perhaps they expect us to book the most expensive room to treat us politely. The front desk Lady in lunch time 1:30 pm was racist and spoke to us so badly. We are Asians and she thought we are cheap. They kept giving the room to Other white guests from 1 pm onwards and asked us to wait. We waited and only to be insulted badly. The customer experience is -100 at this hotel. The room was dark, no phone service working, the room service left the used untidy bottles and toilets were not refreshed properly. We could smell the room dirty. They claim to have many good reviews but I think they are all scripted reviews. There are no guests other than us and few other white aged couples who are not noticing the cold reception. I went to this hotel for my birthday celebration and they made me face terrible experience in my birthday day. Never again in life we will recommend this hotel to Asians and young couples. The food stinks and the rooms are dirty.
