The location is very close to major attractions. The staff (Valentina and Daniela) were very accomodating and very helpful. They will show you a map and suggestions where to go around the area. They were able to let us in even when our flight was delayed and we arrived at mid-night. A little downside is that the Metro Station is about 850meters away (but not a big deal, just a little more walk). Lots of restaurants around the area. SIT bus for airport is very close (walking distance). Very honest people and no hidden costs.

There was 5 of us girls in the Diana (I think) room. We had one big bed, a single bed, and a couch converted into a big bed. The room was right next to the kitchen/ breakfast area. We had great access to the patio with tables and chairs. Breakfast was an amazing croissant, coffee, yogurt, great cereal, and biscuits. The people there were amazing, and made our stay wonderful. We had access to tea in the evening which was awesome. The room was spacious and we had control over heating and AC. You have to watch out for the humidity, obviously with so many people using the shower (never ran out of hot water btw) it gets humid but if you know how to use the AC/Heat it works out fine. Loved our stay. Would definitely come back, if they would have us.

On entering our ‘two bedroom deluxe suite’, as described on your website, the first thing we noticed was how dark it was, even though we arrived in the middle of the day. The second thing to hit you was the awful smell. This, we discovered was down to the permanent damp in the room, compounded by the mould in the bathroom (see attached pictures) and the permanent condensation on the windows. We did not use the air conditioning unit whilst we there so it cannot be attributed to this. The smell was revolting, none of us wishing to stay in the room any longer than was necessary, it invaded everything. It was particularly lucky that none of us had any respiratory conditions. I can only conclude that it is due to the constant condensation that has caused the curtains to shrink so they no longer completely cover the windows. I had spent a long time researching accommodation in Rome as we required two separate bedrooms with two double beds. This was advertised as two bedrooms with two queen size beds. Unfortunately upon arrival we entered through what could only be described as a sitting room with wardrobes and a fridge. The single bed had been made up in the main bedroom. There was no explanation from staff that the couch was a pull out, we discovered this and made up this bed using the single sheet. The advert is totally misleading, both with pictures, showing a light, bright room and with the description. I have also included a picture of the cracked toilet seat, in addition th

I paid for a two-bedroom unit and when they brought me to my room it was a one bedroom with a queen size bed. The room was very small I stated this is not the room I paid for they stated they did not have a two-bedroom can you change at this facility in fact they did have two bedrooms at the facility. I am presently disputing this back home in the United States. I was very disappointed especially with the money I spent for the room and what they gave me.

Came recommended but left disappointed.
First experience was disappointing and wasn’t overly wowed after that. Was offered a shuttle arranged by Domus Dea from the airport for 65 euros which I was told was not negotiable. A cab was 48 euros which is controlled by local authorities. We arranged our own and only paid 48€ Breakfast was marginal, yoghurt, cereal, risks and croissant was all that was available. One cappuccino is free, extra’s are 1.50€ Having stayed there for 7 nights, by day 5 the breakfast became nothing to look forward to. Towels and bedding are refreshed every 3 days upon request or there is a charge for that. Rooms were spacious but some of the furniture was old and and worn. Outside courtyard had plastic furniture although pictures lead you to believe it was solid cast iron. We had higher expectations based on the reviews. One review stated musty smell which we didn’t really notice but then realized three different air fresheners in our room. When we were ready to leave, we did have the breakfast lady call us a cab and we paid the 48€ standard fee when arriving at the airport. Other than meeting the father of the owner, who commented that we were late upon arrival, we were never followed up on during our stay to see how things were. We felt that our bed and breakfast experience was more of a money grab by the owners than a passion for hospitality. Just our thoughts.

Amazing!
Amazing stay, our welcome host was so helpful and gave us a full trip itinerary. The place was exactly like the pictures and we had a lovely outside square for breakfast. Very close to all the sights in Rome and I would very much recommend this to anyone.

Just Okay
Upon arrival I was greeted by the owner. He assisted us in getting our luggage on the lift. B & B was below grade. His recommendation for a local restaurant was off the chart!. He handed us off to his son apologized that he couldn't supply early breakfast for us as we had to leave by 7:15 for car service to the airport. When entering the room I and my family realized that they really need a someone with better cleaning history. The bed spread on the master was dirty and stained. The bathroom had lime scale and the linens were average. Prior to entering the air conditioner was off and the room had an odor of mold. Having run my own bed and breakfast I can surely state I was not impressed. On the positive side the room had access to a lovely courtyard and sitting area. Overall I would not likely recommend this B&B

This was a great little B & B on the Vatican side of the river. Great location! Restaurants close by and an easy walk into the center. Room was typical smaller European but the little garden courtyard was the best!! A great way to unwind and regroup after a busy day of touring. A little oasis of calmness!!!

Negative stars if I could
Where to begin with this place. We arrive and was to the basement, where the B&B resides. The guy is there and tells us our room will be ready in ten minutes. We can wait in the garden -nothing wrong so far other than the check in area (A.K.A the common area hallway) smells like cigarette smoke. We learn that the check in area is also the common area for the breakfast. If you are someone who sleeps in, this could become frustrating because it is very noisy from 8-10 as the entrance to rooms are all within this common area hallway. Finally get our room. It smells like mold and is damp inside. After check in we never saw the guy who checked us in. We were provided no information to contact someone if there was an emergency or we needed help with something. No onsite staff. There is a woman who arrives at 7am and is there until 11am. She cleans and makes the breakfast. When they clean the rooms they leave the doors open so anyone can access freely so lock your stuff in your luggage or decline the cleaning (we did after our first day). The beds are stiff and sheets/covers are not fresh. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. my parents stayed two blocks away at Art 7. I HIGJLY RECOMMEND THAT PLACE. Katia and Stephanie (owners of Art 7) are extremely nice and so is the rest of the staff. Those rooms are more modern and well kept. The breakfast over there surpasses the breakfast at Domus Dea by leaps and bounds. Trust me. I was able to see the difference side by side.

Bad place wrong score read see pics before booking
I'm very confused with the reviews of this place, the information along with the pictures hotels.com provides is totally incorrect and misleading, I took pictures to prove this place is not a safe environment to stay. There is not people here to take care of guests nor the place, breakfast IS NOT A BUFFET it is bad coffee or tea and a piece of bread and maybe yogurt. There are very serious issues with wall humidity, stains etc ...since this place is located on a basement or the underground part of a building for those not familiar with the term basement. You feel the smell and little flies do to water leaks. Towels smell like cigarettes and If you need towels they will charge you euro $5 per piece minimum and this is not advertised when booking, they dont clean the rooms and they do not change the beds linen before 3 days nothing of these issues are clear at the moment of the booking. This booking requires a total refund and is not a healthy place to stay.
