Wij hebben een fijne week gehad met als doel Rome bezoeken en toch een rustig verblijf buiten de stad met onze 3 jonge kinderen. Dit is uitstekend gelukt! Met een huurauto vanaf het vliegveld naar de accomodatie gereden. Verder steeds met de auto naar een metrostation aan de rand van de stad en verder met de metro de stad in gegaan, heel handig en een leuke ervaring, ook voor de kinderen! Rome in de winter beviel ons ook erg goed! Het was overal niet te druk. Het weer 15 graden maar in de zon wel vaak lekker om op een terrasje te kunnen zitten.

Indien je niet wil overnachten in het drukke centrum van Rome is dit de ideale uitvalsbasis. Dit domein is een oase van rust in een toch wel industriële gordel rond ROME. Na een dagje is het snikhete ROME is heerlijk vertoeven in de tuin en in het zwembad.
