Bad experience. Warning that this hotel is listed as “B&B Drago D’Oro” a 3 star hotel, but when you arrive you realize that it is called “Rome love” and is a 1 star hotel. Our shower was clogged, the switches and hairdryer didn’t work and fell apart. We were offered to change rooms and when we did, the new room smelled of moisture. Then we realized that the card keys for the rooms are all the same, which means that anyone can come into your room at anytime when you’re away. My shorts disappeared. Expensive for what it offers. The staff is very nice and are doing their best, but unfortunately that’s not enough to compensate all the problems.

Very good location near Metro station. Warm and nice check-in. Air-conditioner should be more powerful in hot Rome weather. A good hotel with reasonable price overall.

Comfy & close to the train station
Nice amenities and easily accessible location, especially for the price! The staff is dedicated to making guests have a clean and comfy stay! Little extras (high thread count linens, free toothbrushes, bath supplies) were much appreciated! Altogether, this family owned hotel is a US 2+/3 star, EU 4 star rating. Tip: Don't miss Santa Maria della Vittoria, it's better than the Sistine Chapel.

Il personale parla solo cinese, camere senza condizionamento, TV anteguerra. Servizio Expedia con tasse aggiuntive ; il prezzo della camera indicati non incluse tasse (che saranno???); quindi il prezzo reale è più alto!!!!

Neighborhood great- hotel not su much!!
Me and my fiancée booked a room for 7 days. First of all we thought the name to be Drago D'oro but when we came to the address that was in the booking there was a door with a big sign for another hotel. So I called the number also posted at the hotels.com booking and the girl in the reception told me that we were at the right place because the name of the hotel was "Rome Love Hotel".. Our booking was still there and we paid the first thing we did when we checked in. Then we were given a key to the room and given directions to go to the floor above, where they had remodeled a few apartments to small hotel rooms. The room smelled kinda funky but seemed to be clean. No breakfast available. Later on in the week we discovered there was bed bugs or something like that in the beds. 1 night to go home so we did not do anything about it. The locations was this hotels strength. 1km from the colosseum, food store around the corner and nice restaurants also in the neighborhood. Right outside the door there also is a subway (Metro A) that costs 1,5€ and gets you to for example the Vatican in 10-15 minutes. (1 stop away from Termini) So a really good neighborhood, but I would not go back to stay at this hotel again.

Clean Budget-Friendly Hotel
This hotel was great-- especially for the price. The room was the typical European size (small), but it served our needs well. It was clean, conveniently located and very close to the train, and the neighborhood allowed us to escape the typical touristy districts and experience what it's really like to live in Rome. It also had free Wi-Fi, which was a plus. Is it the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in? No. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. TIP: When you get off of the train at Vittorio Emanuale, follow signs to the "BUONARROTI" exit. That's the closest to the hotel. Otherwise you could end up walking around the park which is what we did until we figured out the right entrance/exit.

Nice room close to Metro.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean and neat, but the entrance and elevator were not. We were very surprised that a bed and breakfast did not include breakfast, but was extra.
