A great place!
Loved the apartment, clean and two nice bedrooms. An invigorating hike up and down the stairs every day, but got us ready for our sightseeing.

Great Location
The location of this VRBO is great, central to all interesting Rome locations. Gabriele's was super helpful and very responsive to any of our requests. He also helped with transportation from the airport to the VRBO front door.

Great location. Apartment as advertised
Our stay was great. From the beginning of the booking right through the stay, communication was excellent. The place was exactly like advertised. a/C in every room in 36C weather was a godsend. The location is perfect. Unassuming and right near the heart of Campo Di Fiori.

Great location
This property is a little shabby and dark but we didnt expect 5 star. It IS a 600 year old bldg. Communication was great. Loved the location. Didnt find it noisy at all. Beds were comfortable. Would have appreciated being better stocked with toilet paper, coffee, kitchen cloth and towel.

Great place, full of character, very clean and comfortable, well equiped. Owner very helpful, my sister had an early arrival flight and she was able to check in early. Within easy walk of main sights and public transport, will recommend and would stay again. Owner booked taxi back to airport for us.

Lovely stay in great location
Couldn’t have found a better location for our stay. Gabrielle and Claudia ensured that we checked in without any problems and were contactable if we had any queries. Both were really lovely. The property itself was very traditional, which we loved. We did feel however that the sitting area could have been made more comfortable in terms of decor and furniture … a more comfortable sofa and a coffee table would have been appreciated and also brighter lighting in the apartment. I would definitely stay again if I was to visit Rome again.

Best location!!
Steps from Campo de Fiore and minutes from Piazza Navona- such a perfect location ! The 3 flights of stairs are steep but no problem if you are able. Lots of room in the apartment and the AC was a blessing in the heat of the day. Ask for the owner to set up airport transport- she was so helpful!

Great location
The apartment was in a great location. The market just outside and many restaurants and shops were very enjoyable. The stairs up to the apt we old stone and uneven in places making it a bit difficult. Furnishings were rustic and some in need of repair or replacement. Kitchen was well supplied. But we had an enjoyable time.

Great Neighborhood! Worked perfectly to visit DD studying abroad at John Cabot University
The apartment worked well for our family of 4 visiting our daughter studying abroad. The neighborhood is lively, especially at night! Bring a noise maching/phone app if you are noise sensitive but it was nice to go to sleep with the noise tooand clsing the windows keep out much of the noise. The apartment was clean and had plenty of bedding/bath towels. The 2nd bath is accessed by going out on the patio so a little chilly in March, we only used it in emergencies! The owner is very communicative and quick to respond and made arrangements for our trip back to the airport. The restaurants in Campo de Fiori are all good, even for the quick breakfast stop at the juice bar in the morning. Enjoy!

Nice stay for a week during Christmas, short walk to all the attractions in Rome. Apartment is in a very old building so the steps are not for the frail. Apartment was nice and clean furnishings are dated but everything was fine. Transportation from and to the airport were arranged which was a nice detail we didn’t have to worry about landing in Rome at 10:00pm.

Perfect Place
My husband, teen daughter and I stayed in this apartment during our trip to Rome. It is in the prefect location to be able to walk to all of the history you will want to see. Plenty of restaurants to choose from right outside your door. The apartment had lots of room, so much character, cute tiny balcony. It does get noisy at night but that really did not bother us as we were so tired from all of the walking. Bring earplugs though if you are a light sleeper. The four stories stairs leading up to the apartment are a tad narrow but they kept us in shape. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location to walk to everything
Campo Fiori is an awesome location to call home while visiting Rome. Great old (aged) apartment, well appointed and comfortable. Yes, bar downstairs is noisy into the late night-early morning hours. I read on reviews this could be an issue, so brought ear plugs and I quite highly recommend this or headphones. For me, I would go back because the location was really ideal for walking every direction of Rome’s city and the noise was manageable by me.

Wonderful location
Our host met us to let us into the apartment, which is between two loud piazzas. Some reviews complain about the noise, but we had a sound machine. We stayed over new years and had noise until 2am. That was the only night the noise really bothered us. The apartment is such a fun old building, from opening the main door with it's worn knocker to climbing the well worn stairs transports you back to ancient Italy. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of linens and towels left for us. Well stocked with a hair dryer even. We would stay here again, even with the 4 flights of stairs!

Perfect Location!
We stayed at this location with 2 adults, 2 teens and a 4 year old. The building is old and full of charm. We did not find the stairs to be an issue even though we all had large backpacks to carry up. They only added to the unique experience of staying in an older building. The location is excellent. We could walk everywhere with our 4 year old, including Trevi fountain, the Collosseum, and the Vatican. The Piazza comes alive at night and we all enjoyed evenings spent eating gelato and people watching. The property managers were so helpful in ensuring that our family arrived safely and without any stress. We would highly recommend this location. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place!

Location, Location, location!
We stayed over a week at this flat and it did not disappoint. Yes, the apartment is on the 3rd floor and you have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs, but it’s worth it. We chose this place due the proximity to the UW study abroad center, and to be close to Rome attractions. We loved that everything was in walking distance. This property was in a very fun and safe area - surrounded by a daily market that disappears at night, amazing shops, restaurants, cafe, etc. The host were very helpful with answering any questions, and provided a list of restaurants to go to and “tourist traps” to avoid. The places they recommended were amazing and affordable. The windows appeared to be new and we didn’t notice any outside noise that other reviewers had posted in the past. They also provided a car service to take us back to the airport so that we didn’t have find a taxi for an early morning flight. What a gem!

Quaint apartment in a fantastic location
The location of the apartment is perfect, very central for walking to all the main tourist attractions, on a side street off Campo de Fiori which had a bustling market most mornings, lots of cafes and bars too - a great atmosphere! We had the windows closed but were never disturbed by noise. The apartment itself is lovely, spacious with plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen had most utensils needed (though didn’t have tea towels, or any basic supplies such as milk when we arrived, which would have been helpful) but we ate out most nights and used it only for breakfast / lunch. As others have said the apartment is up a few flights of very steep stairs, with the front door overlooking a very low wall with a big drop the other side - to be aware of if you have small children, it also would not be suitable for anyone with mobility impairment as there is no lift. Overall we loved our visit to Rome and the apartment was a great base in a fantastic location.

An elegant appartment in the center of Rome
We had a great time in Rome, and this also because of Anna Maria'appartment. The flat is perfectly located in the heart of Rome (just 10m from Campo di Fiori). We could do everything in walking distance, and in the evening, our kids could go out and enjoy the local pubs just around the corner. The flat is in a typical Roman building. The inside is really elegant and we loved the typical floors. Everything was perfectly clean. On top of this, we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco in the fringe ... What can we say more? Except that we highly recommend this appartment, and If we have the chance to come back to Rome, we definitely book this flat again!

Great Apartment Campo de Fiori
My wife and went to Rome to visit our daughter who is studying overseas. We decided to search for a property near where she was staying which is Campo de Fiori. We quickly found the great two-bedroom walkup which is just steps away from everything in Campo de Fiori which it turns out is one of the premiere locations in Rome. The owner was great with communication and even arranged our airport transfers. We were met at the property and were given a quick tour. The apartment is large and has two comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom is newly renovated, and the kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher and washing machine. The location is the best. We walked to the Vatican and all of the other major sites in Rome. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who does not have mobility issues. Thanks to Gabriele and Claudia

Great location and spacious…
This place is in the heart of campo de fiori which is a great home base. The stairs weren’t a problem for our young group. The flat is spacious and the AC worked great. We had issues with the bathroom. The shower head was completely cracked and just poured water through the crack. The other issue is the bathroom smelled terribly like urine. When I told the host, she said the shower had limestone buildup and if I couldn’t fix it, she might be able to arrange for cleaners to come but probably not before our 3 night stay was up. I then sent a video of the shower (limestone may have caused the crack but it was beyond repair and needs replaced.) the other bathroom is outside which is slightly inconvenient and it’s only a toilet.

Great location but …
Pros: - great location on campo di Fiori - good communication with host and responsive host (any time I had a problem or question, he responded) - large apartment - description online is accurate (about the stairs, the outdoor second bathroom, etc) Cons: - strong sewer gas smell from bathroom (host was responsive and gave us a suggestion to fix it although it didn’t really fix the problem - it’s possible that the rain caused this problem and it normally isn’t an issue) - not very “cozy or homey” (no area rugs, spare furnishings, etc.) There was a cold and creepy vibe to the whole place. - very loud outside at night (earplugs solved the problem and the windows are well insulated but the lively bar below was loud until 2am) - we had more issues at this place than any other (broken key, disconnected wifi, ran out of toilet paper, sewer smell, etc) If it’s your first time to Italy - beware of the cash tax charge per person per day. We were not aware of this and I still don’t see where I was notified of this on our booking (although our host did send me a screenshot of it from his end). This is not specific to his place - it is anywhere in Italy. I wish I could give a higher rating because the host was responsive but we just were not happy with the apartment. I hope it works for others!
