"We stayed here in mid-October where the fall colors were just about peak. The panoramic view from the porch exceeded our expectations - just breathtaking. The water was a nice feature although the boardwalk was not really functioning. We found that you don't really need it to get to the water's edge. We stayed with another couple we were very close to, so the close quarters upstairs was not a problem at all. (The Jack/Jill bathroom sink might need a faucet that is a bit longer to allow for more...

"The bus was cozy and secure and very well renovated. It was stocked with everything you would need but never felt crowded. It was pitch dark and quiet at night and The stars were beautiful. The hosts were very nice and checked in on you but let you be otherwise. The area was miles and miles of cotton farms, close to food and shopping and antique stores and state and national parks. "
