"Beautiful log cabin on the site of a previous homestead, at the end of a gravel road overlooking a beautiful wooded valley. Clean and cozy with all the amenities, stove fridge, full bath and HVAC. Fire ring and new chairs and table outside. Very quiet and secluded. No traffic noise, only birds, wildlife and the breeze. Highly recommended. Close to biking, hiking, trout fishing, Mystery cave, and the Museum in Fountain is a must see."

"Clean, comfortable & quiet room with interesting history and everything we needed for our weekend stay. We enjoyed family, fishing & football (a Packers win!) at the Waumandee Country Bar, located right across the street from these sweet accommodations. We'll be back!"

"Absolutely loved this cabin stay for our family! Clean, quick drive to whitewater state park for day adventures, and so nice to come back and enjoy the time at the cabin. Bathrooms were great and clean! Nice to have running warm water for our toddler along for the trip. Will definitely be considering booking again! :)"

"We loved this place! It is quaint, welcoming and in a very natural setting. While here we vosited Whitewater. We stayed in Cabin 3 but hiked up the hill to the tent sites which has an amazing view of the bluffs!"

"Would definitely stay here again. Comfortable (love the memory foam mattresses) and extremely clean and well stocked. We debated staying in Winona and are so thankful we didn’t (the traffic!) This was the perfect location for hitting all the state parks in this corner of MN. One thing to clarify: the bathroom is inside the bedroom so the living room guests have to enter the bedroom at night. A couple of things we would change if we could: a regular coffee maker would be great. My coffee-drinker...
