"We arrived at your place and found it dilapidated. it's too late to leave tonight so we have to stay the night but we are leaving tomorrow and want to cancel our stay booked to Feb 23 and want and expect a full refund. The outside steps are dangerous, the appliances are rusted, the carpets smell, the screens are torn, the blinds fall apart when pulled shut, the window sills are dirty, rusted refrigerator, there is no toilet paper nor even a complimentary ice cube tray nor potable water and more I have emailed you twice and not heard back. And the folks you have taking care of the property have not been paid in months. Shameful on both you and VRBO. Finally, the property is not as advertised in the photos."

"The photos of this property really don't do it justice. Amazing house, where the owner has really thought and anticipated all guests needs, with high quality furnishings, and amenities. The view is just glorious, and the beach was superb. Easy to get to from the airport, and easy to get to local attractions like cherokee sound, petes pub and the neem farm. Michelle was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and helpful. Will definitely return on our next Abaco adventure"

"Our stay at Island Cottage was amazing. We were looking for a quiet place to reconnect as a family and the location provided just that. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. The kids really enjoyed their own space in the spacious loft. The kitchen is well equipped and provided for some great family meals. The close location to the beach and the dock was ideal. The blue water and white sand was amazing. Thanks to the limited illumination at night the dock was a great location for star gazing. Danette, the host, was truly responsive and offered some great recommendations. The local grocery store is well stocked and truly convenient. We would definitely stay again. Eric"

"This is a great property! The house is in perfect condition and fully stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed (including sharp knives which is rare in a rental). They have beach chairs and games available for use. The location, while a little further out, is exactly what we wanted. I wanted a place away from the crowd and we got it. It is like having your own private beach. The home owners are great to work with throughout the process. They communicated prior to the trip and helped us arrange a chef one night to come to the house. They are quick to respond and welcoming. If you are considering this house, go for it! It is fantastic!"

"We had a great holiday week over Christmas! We have visited several other islands in the Bahamas and every one is unique! The cool thing about this island is the abundance of sea life!This house is situated with the mangroves on one side and the ocean on the other. Right out the back doors we saw an ABUNDANCE of conch, sea turtles, sting rays, a barracuda, TON of star fish, a small nurse shark, pin fish, puffer fish, an octopus and bonefish!The house was spacious enough for the six of us to spread out and gather when we were entertaining. The boat that you can rent is a MUST DO! We had the time of our life on it and the experiences and memories we made will be cherished. "
