"We visited Springfield for a concert, and decided we could splurge a little and stayed at the Hotel Vandivort. This place is swanky! From the floor tile and light fixtures, the custom furniture, the themed graphics in the elevator shaft, the expansive room and comfortable beds, this place is top notch. And even though the check-in host said the hotel was full, we never really heard anyone else on our floor. The food service offerings were also outstanding, especially the Vantage rooftop bar (located in an adjacent building, we found out after trying to find it on the 4th floor of the main building). Service was friendly and efficient, the cocktails were generous, the seafood was fresh and delicious. The only complaint is the in-room coffee service; there were plenty of supplies available, but the coffee blends were bland and the coffee maker made it too weak. Free parking in the small lot across the street, if you get there early enough (we did!). Overall, we were very happy with our stay."

"It was an ok stay. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. The lobby was cleand looked good. Our room seeemd clean. Then I visited the restroom. There were 3 boogers on the wall. (I'm not joking) The beds were somewhat hard. "
