"We were grateful there were two beds! But everything was very hodgepodge! The bed was terrible! There was very hot water and lots of pressure! The tub was clean and the refrigerator was new! With a little effort it could be very cute! We tried to call the contact to figure out where we were going as GPS wasn’t accurate! And the ladies voicemail was full! "

It was very comfortable for three people, but be advised that the upstairs bedroom does not have a door/is open to the great room as a loft, and the downstairs bedroom has windows in the set of doors. "Bobcat Lodge is a lovely cozy cabin surrounded in trees so you do have privacy. The hot tub was nice and was used daily. Checking in next to the Daniel Boone coffee shop was very easy and we found the cabin no problem. Communicating with the property management was easy and they were prompt to respond. The only drawback was the cabin needs a thorough deep cleaning and the kitchen is missing some common items like a collander and hand mixer. Making mashed potatoes and frosting was a fun...

"This property was amazingly unique! Having only an outdoor shower and the closed in bathroom outside also. We were there right after Hurricane Helene hit. So that was interesting 😂. But I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I would definitely keep the season/weather in mind though. There is a mini split keeping it cool. And space heaters to turn on when it’s cold. "

"This was our second time staying here. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Our only complaint about the room is that during the winter season they are cold. There are no heavy blankets or comforters provided. Only a thin bedspread. Also the breakfast is very sparse. Only waffles, toast, bagels, cold cereal and instant oatmeal. The coffee is really bad as well, very muddy"
