Unsatisfactory accommodation
The property is in need of repair and renovation. Of the 2 bathrooms, which is why we took it in the first place, only 1 shower was useable. This was in a bathtub with no hook to hang the shower head on so we had to shower with it in one hand and there was no shower curtain to prevent the bathroom becoming soaking wet. As had previously been the case, because the bathroom furniture was broken and smelly from always being wet.
The down stairs shower was not useable as it was too small 50cmx50cm and all the water ran all over the floor and soaked the flooring and surrounding cupboards as the shower curtain was inadequat for the job and it too was mouldy and smelly.
The kitchen was not clean and all of the plates were chipped. There were not enough plates and cups to be able to fill the dishwasher without it being uneconomical using it for 6 plates, as there were only 6 plates and 5 people.
The key lady was very friendly but spoke only Spanish, we speak English,German and French so communication was not really possible. There wasn't a file with general information for the house or area. And lastly, the internet description said a quiet residential area to be respected but failed to mention the large noisy campsite directly backing onto the accomodation.This holiday was not worth the 2,500 Euro that we paid.
