The views were beautiful. The house was so clean.
Just needed a pot to boil in but Otherwise everything was there
We stayed here for an overnight stop from Florida to Ohio and back. The house is clean and served it’s purpose well. Pack n play and high chair on site was helpful, less items for us to unpack. The backyard is private when exiting out the side door which works great with dogs across the street. Will stay again!
Very convenient for attending a conference in Bluefield.
We 3 friends loved having our own rooms vs. sharing a hotel room for our weekend conference. We loved the comfortable spacious couch for talking time. Grateful!
We had the best time staying in this house. It was a great space, very clean, and within 15 minutes of any place we needed to be. I’m he check in and check out process were both super easy, but be sure to save check in info on your phone in case you don’t have service (some of us did, some of us didn’t). Once we were in wifi, we had no issues. Highly recommend!
This was a cute little house in the quiet secluded mountain. The house has much potential and very cozy. Only suggestion is to add a cutting board to the kitchen :) otherwise a very cozy, relaxing night after a long drive from Illinois. And the local art on display is awesome!! We purchased a piece ourselves!
The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located right off the interstate which was convenient. I gave the location a 4 out 5 because if you’re looking for a location that has many restaurants/stores you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes. No big deal to do that. We would stay here again.
Very accommodating for our large family, including our infant. There was a pack n play with sheets and a high chair. The house was very neat and tidy, and checking in was simple. There was enough room for all nine of us plus two dogs. We will definitely be staying here next time! Loved the rocking bench on the back porch.
On a trip to North Myrtle Beach and stayed for one night with extended family with children. It was great as the kids could be outside playing and running around in the house too after a long trip. The house is older but kept in great condition and had thoughtful towel arrangements for each room. I would definitely recommend to others to stay as an alternative to a hotel. Had it been available on the return trip, would have booked again.
Thank you for a fun evening after traveling!

Stool at kitchen table missing screw causing it to wobble so much you can’t sit on it. Also the heat vent in kitchen is sticking up enough to trip someone.
I feel the property manager should warn people that there’s nowhere to get any food after 2:30 PM. There is a small grocery store that doesn’t have much. We may do the property itself was very nice. We were very comfortable. I feel you need to put a lamp in the living room so that we don’t have to put up with the glare of the overhead light, you need to use less air freshener I am smell sensitive and it gave me a headache. Thank you for a nice place to stay.
This house is right off the exit on the way to the beach. It has plenty of beds. We just stayed one night. There was plenty of parking for several cars. This is the second time we stayed here. Anytime we go to the beach, this house will definitely be our stop over. It's reasonably priced, clean, comfy, and convenient.
This is an older house that is still clean and maintained well and perfect for a VRBO stay. Ashley (owner) communicated with us and always replied to any of my messages. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials. My family (4) had plenty of room and this was the perfect place to stay for us - <30 min from skiing in Ghent, WV and <1hr from horseback riding in Radford, VA. There is nothing open at this exit (just off I-71) past 9, but Princeton, WV is 12 mins away and everything you need is there. This is an old and beautiful community and we felt safe. A++++ Review - I recommend without any reservations.
The house was exactly as described and very cozy. We stayed only one night on our way to the Outer Banks. Ashley was a great host and was very responsive to any of our inquiries. We would definitely return as the house is conveniently right off of the highway.
This was the perfect little place for my family and I to stay at. We were able to be closer to our family reunion destination and take the kids to do some sight-seeing as they'd never been to the mountains.
Great, quick communication with Ashley. There was water on the kitchen floor when we arrived and she had someone out in about 30 minutes to look at it. House was right off the freeway with easy access. We were moving my daughter into a college about 25 minutes away. Easy drive! We have a 100 pound dog that does not do well with other animals, and a lot of places won't accept her. The only downside to this property, which is not the owners fault in any way, is there are 5 large dogs directly across the street with a chain link fence in the front of the house. They were outside most of the time we were there, so getting my dog in and out of the vehicle to the house and vice versa was difficult. Again, not the owners fault at all. I just wish I would have known to be better prepared. House has wood floors which I loved! Couch was very comfortable and was nice and big so all 5 of us could lounge and watch a movie together (Netflix is provided). Dining room table was also plenty big to accommodate 3 adults and 2 teenagers with room to spare. Would stay again when we go visit our daughter!
Great and convenient stop over...larger than it looks.
This house really is larger than it looks. We stopped over at this house on our way to the beach. It only added 7 minutes more onto our trip, which was wonderful. The living room had several couches which was great because we usually can't sit together as a family at most places. Everybody in our group slept fine on the beds. The plastic on the beds make me too hot, but everybody else was fine with it. We arrived late and left early so we didn't do any cooking. There is plenty of parking for several cars. The owner, Ashley, was very responsive to any questions. We drove straight through coming home. The next time we go to the beach, I would definitely stay here again.
